Great video! I have a theory for you guys that might explain the hand. In twilight princess the master sword is stabbed into gandodorfs chest. In breath of the wild the master sword seems to have been weakened. Could it be that the zonai took power from the master sword to seal Gannon? It would explain why link wasn’t trapped in time for grabbing the master sword at a young age like in ocarina of time.

Holy crap I never even thought about that before! Why was OOT Link treated so differently to BOTW Link? Wind was young but not as young when he found the Master Sword, and he was the one to actively bring it to life out of necessity so it makes sense. But OOT had the decision made that even with everything going to hell in a hand basket the world could wait a few years so that the hero could physically grow, while in BOTW the master sword apparently decided it was fine for the kid to be trained as a knight from that moment on until the Calamity erupted?? I have many questions!

The Zonai Symbol is the same as the Sealed Grounds spiral...which actually could easily become the Akkala Peninsula.
If you rotate the Surface Map from SS, it roughly matches Akkala Region (with the Lanayru Sand Sea instead becoming the Akkala Sea). Which...for “Zelda Geography”? That’s almost 1:1 (since reoccurring landmarks literally float all over the place in ways that can’t be explained away by centuries and millennia. The Temple of Time/Master Sword pedestal/Lost Woods are repeat offenders.)
Which...considering BotW borrows perhaps the heaviest from SS...
Perhaps the “hand seal” is actually Ghirahim manipulating a reversed engineered seal to seal away Ganondorf’s soul, but revive Demise via condensing the Malice? Ghirahim already has the knowledge of Demise’s original seal, especially since his sole purpose was...reviving his master. (And heck. We already have Fi more or less returned via the “sword spirit” including using Fi’s sfx to prove that Link was still alive...and the Malice did WAY more damage than a Ganon(dorf) EVER has. Which, considering the optional One Hit Obliterator looks roughly like Someone’s Tridant...
It’s highly possible that 10k years ago Ghirahim first murdered that era’s Hero, then ripped away some of that Ganondorf’s Malice into creating Calamity. With Link dead, the Sheikah developed the OHO for Ganondorf to wield, specifically tailoring it to him since no one could wield the Master Sword. Together with that era’s Zelda, the Divine Beasts, and Guardians, Ganondorf destroys the Calamity...only they discover that it was only Malice, and the threat could come again.
Ghirahim then frames Ganondorf as the cause of Hyrule’s recent misfortune. Ganondorf’s former allies then betray him, sealing his body and soul underneath what’s probably Hyrule Castle, despite his heroism for both his people and the other hyrulians. Ghirahim then manipulates the Sheikah into developing technology that would stripmine Ganondorf’s Soul as a “clean, sustainable energy source”. (The true purpose being to destroy Ganondorf’s/Groose’s soul, leaving only Demise and his Malice.) However, Ghirahim then reinacts his revenge against the Sheikah for their part in Demise’s defeats by spreading rumors that once Ganondorf’s Soul is gone, they’ll turn on the citizens to fuel their technology next. The Sheikah are forced to abandon their technology, but by then it’s too late-the damage has been done (although they’re a-ok with continuing to use Ganon-Fuel until they ultimately forget that he’s the fuel source.)
For the next 10k years, Ganondorf’s soul is consumed. During that time Ghirahim continues to prepare a ritual that will use the harvested Malice to ressurect Demise while the mortal Ganondorf’s body&soul remains pinned down by the reworked seal. Right around the birth of Zelda, Ghirahim’s plans are finally nearly ready. However, the birth of a new Spirit Maiden threatens to ruin everything.
Ghirahim then poses as the fortune teller, prophesising Calamity Ganon’s near return...but then advises the King dig up the old Sheikah weaponry and put the Spirit Maiden under intense and unprecedented training the second she can walk. However, this was no kindness-the real reason was to destroy Zelda’s soul and confidence by having her begin too early and thus unable to ever access her powers (and keep Hylia’s descendent from discovering the fatal flaw in the Beasts and Guardians that Ghirahim himself planned to exploit.)
...which...it *almost* worked: Zelda’s confidence is shattered, believing she’s powerless to access her Diving Gift and it’s the only worth she has...when in reality she was set up to fail by being placed on the path much too early and in a way that was inorganic. (Remember the Silent Princess.) The Hero is defeated and all-but dead, his sealing sword badly damaged and forces to retire while it awaits its master’s return. (Much like Ghirahim waits for Demise.) The Guardians and Beasts are overwealmed by the Malice Ghirahim releases on them, further tarnishing the Sheikah’s legacy and allowing hoards of monsters to “reclaim” the ruined lands of Hyrule.
And despite Zelda’s Powers surfacing at the 11th Hour and containing *most* of the Malice to the ruins of Hyrule Castle...enough Malice still infects the machines and plagues the land.
Oh...and Demise is *almost* revived. Only that pesky Hero causes Demise to emerge from his cocoon too early the second the Spirit Maiden’s powers begin to fatigue. Then the Spirit Maiden obliterated the Calamity after the Hero bought her a moment’s recovery.
But Ghirahim still has the Source.
When Zelda and Link investigate for the Source and discover the Hand Seal syphoning away Ganondorf’s Soul and bleeding Pure Malice from the wound, Ghirahim strikes again. Only this time he releases ALL of the Malice at once, and both the Hand and Malice in tandem attempt to strike Link.
Ganondorf’s Corpse awakening as a result is the least of Ghirahim’s concerns. What can one, mummified mortal do? And if the Three infight like they had for Millenia? All the better for Ghirahim while he finishes restoring Demise to his former self.

    • @Attaxalotl
      @Attaxalotl 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Ghirahim is back, after quite possibly one million years.
He actually teams up with Ganondorf, as it's all that's really left of demise, and they have the same goal "take over hyrule." Ghirahim could have weakened or changed the zonai seal so that ganon could create the calamity. They could have been working together for quite some time, and the calamity could have been the result of Ghirahim possibly causing master khoga to create the yiga clan (look at their colors, it almost perfectly matches Ghirahim's cloak) impersonating a fortune teller to get the sheikah tech where ganon could corrupt it, quite probably killing zelda's mom for the reasons you discussed. If you look at my earlier evidence, either nintendo was taking some inspiration from their earlier character, or else he is almost certainly behind the yiga. I mean a scythe is a lot like a cutlass, and a "Demon Carver" Ghirahim is a demon lord, so... plus it's also just a disc with pointy stuff on it and what was Ghirahim's main attack in the first battle against him at skyview temple? throwing pointy stuff (throwing knives) at you. I admit this last one is kind of a stretch, but the yiga blademasters' swords have some pretty magical attacks behind them. What if they were all made by ghirahim? plus the red and white color scheme still checks out here.

Has anyone taken a look at the Korok puzzles and their possible connections to the Zonai? There are strange spiral like shapes on the decorative face of the metal cubes scattered around Hyrule. I couldn’t find any reason the Koroks were connected to these odd puzzles, why would tiny tree people make metal cube puzzles when anything they’re connected to is organic such as rocks, leaves, water, flowers, and trees? Not to mention I couldn’t fine these cubes in Creating a champion. It just seems odd. But what if they were Zonai? I mean, the Great Deku Tree and Koroks have been watching over the master sword, the sword connected to the hero of Hyrule, who possibly has a connection to the ancient Zonai tribe. They could totally be Sheikah but I don’t see the connection as strongly. They’re metal and can be moved with magnesis, that’s about the connection I’ve found to the Sheikah.
P.S. later I remembered the small metal ball, ball and chain puzzles that the Koroks have as well, but they’re simplistic and aren’t decorated in anyway besides being a rough round shape so I still stand by my idea that the metal cube puzzles were created by someone else, possibly the Zonai.

Seria aquela ilha na prova tenebrosa, aonde passamos todo tempo na escuridão, e dificilmente conseguimos lutar contra aquele Onix maldito que tem uma bola ancestral no pescoço. Theory: Tarrey Town was the location of the rebuilt Hyrule Castle in Wind Waker. As such, it has always meant to been a place that symbolizes unity and renewal. And if Hyrule is the same world as Mario World, it is possible that it is the future location of Peach's Castle in Mario and Hudson and Rhondson are the ancestors of the Toads/Mario World nobility.
