Mileage depends on how you drive. For normal driving, mileage increases. Incase you want to accelarate hard, you'll get good pickup but mileage will drop. Not less than 15kmpl though.

Hi, with newer cars the ECU is set for a particular air to fuel mixture. Not much gains will be noticed unless you continue the mods with a free flow exhaust and do ecu remapping. The increase in noise will be the only gain. Increase in pick up is just a feeling. Try testing the times or drag race with a stock baleno. Also top end may suffer on a RAM setup because of sucking in hot engine air. For a cold air intake setup check to see if exposed to rain water. Ingress into engine will be catastrophic. Best is not to mess with original setup. Cost of mods and consequences are expensive. Instead save up and buy a faster car next time.
Original air filters are paper and cheap to replace. Performance filters are cloth and are oil based. Cost is 5 times more than original and the performance filters have to be cleaned and oiled separately. Read K&N.
An increase in noise sounds sporty, but it's more of all bark and no bite setup.

If you drive fast, mileage will drop a bit. But in case you drive nicely, mileage will increase. You can also use a reverse conical one instead of this.

Yes.. its been almost a year.. washed it recently.
However I suggest you get a reverse conical intake and cover it with a tin can...
