When I held it for for 10 secs and waited for the apple logo to turn on, it brought me back to the Recovery Mode again, it just keeps happening

I went to charge my phone at home (during lunch) and about thirty minutes later my screen looked distorted and I thought I was going to have to go an apple store to get my phone fixed. I quickly turned on my laptop and found your video and learned how to reboot with pressing the volume down and power button and it really saved my life (a lot of time would have been wasted if I had gone to the apple store coupled with my frustration of a 7 month old phone having display issues). Thank you - this is the only thing that worked! I had to update iTunes per your comment and restart my pc and then open iTunes for it to work. I also held the buttons down in the order you said for that long because other sites said just the power and lower volume and not holding one or the other alone too. So relieved!

If anyone is having problems entering DFU mode, make sure you are NOT using a USB-C to lightning cable. You CANNOT enter DFU mode unless you are using a USB-A (aka "normal" USB or the style that came with the phone) to lightning cable.

Hey there, thanks for putting this up, I am having a weird issue with my mac and new iphone 7, connect to the mac and the error message comes up saying "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone because an invalid response received from the device", any thoughts? I know I may have to do your trick above etc whilst its plugged in?
I would definitely try as many of these trouble shooting options as possible:
Reboot/Hard reset your phone
Try a different lighting cable
Try a different USB port
Try a different computer
make sure iTunes is updated
Make sure your iPhone is updated to 10.0.1
Unlock the phone to the home screen before plugging it in
so if i wanted to hard reset it to factory settings is this what i would have to do or no?

You'll need to take it out of Lost Mode. Log into the iCloud account that the phone is associated with to disable that and turn off Find My iPhone. The phone cannot be used without the iCloud password.

Unfortunately if you do not know your iCloud account password, the phone cannot be restored. It is iCloud locked and essentially a useless brick.

Reiboot is not free. After the long scanning of your phone it only offers to enter recovery mode. Everything else comes a price package.

Do you know anything about "Unknown Error (14)?" Im stuck in a recovery loop every time I try and restore my phone.
Error 14 in iTunes usually denotes a problem with the USB connection to your computer, USB cable, USB port or computer itself. Might try a different port, different computer if possible, or different cable

i tried to downgrade from ios 11 to ios 10.3.3 on my itunes, it went perfectly till 90% of the process and suddenly a error message popped up on my itunes screen and my iphone 7 plus got stuck on that update screen, what do i do?

Without the iCloud password, no. Unless you have proof of purchase and can take it to the Apple store, its pretty much a brick.

When go to put my iphone 7 in recovery mode it don't do it when i hold down the power button it wont go in recovery mode it just keeps keep the apple logo for about 2 minutes then it flashes then stays on again.
