Clocked it right away (Percy Jackson fan over here lmao) and it is so perfect, especially with Jason taking the coins off of his eyes after he's revived??? Genius!! Love this animatic sm you did awesome (Especially since you did it in only ten days what the heck?! /pos)
Jason is my absolute FAVORITE how I adore my evil son and let! Me! Just! Say! That I freaking love what you've done with him. I have my own headcanons about the head trauma/poorly healed injuries involved w being beaten and blown up (nonsense pit is nonsense, indeed! but I love the idea of it healing without necessarily "fixing" (like maybe bones healing incorrectly if not splinted, or fixing the being dead but not, yknow, the aforementioned brain trauma idk. I also like to ignore all his time spent as a vegetable like you, cause it's stupid.)) but him being DEAD???????? Like, CAUSE OF HOW HE DIED?????? Just *chef's kiss* Because oh my GOD!!!! And this paired with crane wives and angst??? I love you. This is amazing, DC should hire you, no notes, 1000000000000/10
@@akumasureiya2074 thank you!! I'm currently in classes for anatomy/physiology and psychology stuff so this is the product of my nerd brain running itself in circles LMAO. I also like to think he'd have like sleep apnea or not being able to keep food down because his body just doesn't know how to be _alive_ again, something like that.
I really love the reference to geek mythology 1:59, like when the people die they put dollars on their eyes so they can go to the underworld, I don't know if it's voluntary but if so it's really cool
@@Milky_crow HELL YEAHHH SOMEONE NOTICED!! The coin is inspired by both the lyric in the song and by the Ancient Greek tradition. Robin is placing the coins in his eyes symbolizing his death, while Red Hood is removing it, symbolizing his revival! Him only having one coin also simultaneously represents how he's not *fully* alive despite literally rising from the grave, his body doesn't operate like a living person's would. It is also a way to say that Robin and Red Hood will always be tied to one another, opposite sides of the same coin.
DUDE. i've seen this song once and i literally noted in my tabs that i NEEDED to make some sort of thing with it. even if its just for me. ITS *SO* him. his name is literally branded on the song ISTG i think the 'papa' part would be a mix of Bruce and Willis (Jason's dad, or whatever you call him lol) 10/10 would listen again (and read the whole desc lol) -edit, i do find the Lazarus Pit confusing as FAWK. bc clearly, Damian DID get plunged into it numerus time. (why wouldn't he? yk?) and it just fixing everything?? confusing confusing. i do hope in the future, people explain it better... BUT ERM YEAH, i do agree with the character description it does make sense!! (also little funny HC that Jason's past self haunts him (literally) as it would be funny. and more angst)

I also just didn't know how I wanted to wrap up the video so I decided to go with the ghost thing. I left the ending ambiguous as to what it means. To me it's him coming to terms with his time as Robin, letting it be its own thing separate from him, that's not who he is nor does he want it to be anymore.

Professionally, animatics are just storyboards that lay a ground foundation for plotting out an actual animation where movements are much more fluid and detailed. They're typically not fully rendered or colored like this. Best of luck to your endeavors though‼️ :D
