Obviously there was a lot more to George Harrison than just being a very accomplished guitar player! He left the Beatles because he could not be himself and avoided the nasty music industry for good reason! Miss all the music he would have created but miss his generous heart the most! Bangladesh knows his heart better than all of us! I treasure most that George Harrison has now found peace and the pain he must have endured is no more; “the answer is indeed at the end”!

Wow Scott , this was amazing to see starting from the empty room to a huge studio !! All the small to large parts of the studio shown , really cool . George had a great studio , so much to look over in that big room . I enjoyed watching this room unfold into the beautiful room it became and of course the music again was perfect !!

Thanks, Gail. I am glad to have shown this and cleared up some myths about the location, too. So many people are overwhelmed looking at the mansion, and they don't know where the studio was. It probably could have been even larger, but it's still a large place and in a great location. :)

Thanks Scott - incredible photos set to a gentle sitar. Never saw any of these anywhere. I of course recognize Paul, Ringo, George Martin, and Roy Obison - who is the guy to the of right of Ringo @ 4:31 and to the right of George @4:46?
The console is incredible and no doubt state of the art for the period. I am an electronics buff from decades ago. I would pay a ridiculous sum just to sit there and touch that stuff... multi track recorders, all the mechanical console controls....just awesome - thanks so much!!! Friar Park is stunning and I still need to check out you video on that!

@@fourthtunz Their whole purpose was to destroy the world which had been built and introduce a new style of existence. An evil world full of drugs, which the Beatles were prime instigators of and took great delight in getting innocent young people hooked on the crap thus destroying any positive future they may have had.
So don't come that apologetic bullshit that they were only humans. They came from the British aristocracy, they lived their lives in luxury and wealth all stolen fraudulently from young innocent humans who were looking for a better world but got stuck with being slaves to an evil system of which the Beatles were a huge contributor. And they knew what they were doing! Forget the individuals, they were creepy nobodies fed to us as intelligent musical geniuses. The music may have been great but it wasn't due to those turds!

Pretty much all of George's albums from 1973 onwards were recorded there. The main exceptions were the latter half of the Dark Horse sessions and all of Extra Texture which took place at A&M in Los Angeles. Living In The Material World's notes claim it was recorded at Apple in London, but according to Klaus Voorman it was mostly recorded at Friar Park. 33 & 1/3, George Harrison, Somewhere In England, Gone Troppo, Cloud Nine, and Brainwashed were all recorded at Friar Park. Overdubs for the two Wilburys albums were also done there.
