I literally just sold my Vox NT15 because the Vox AC30 sound on the GTX50 is so spot on. Freeing up space. Just so much versatility. And I don’t play live or in a band so the modeled sound is good enough for me.
This is an amazing video from an amazing channel. I love the concept of just hanging out and discussing tones. Not trying to sell me anything. One amp model that is seriously overlooked is the 60s Thrift. This is a model of the Sears Silvertone 1484 amplifier from the 60s, a suuuuuper rare amp to find nowadays. It is THE sound of The White Stripes and Jack White and much of The Black Keys. Playing around with this amp and dialing it in with fuzzes and boosts (I use external pedals! they sound perfect through it) has appeased my desire to try and find one of the rare Silvertone amps because it just sounds so spot on. I would check it out! I like it best with the 57 Deluxe cab
These amps kick ass ! I can get any tone I want from a Dead envelope filter sound to Sabbath to a clean Jazz and they all sound good. I have contemplating my first Marshall half stack but this amp is just too good right now ~
Great demos, all sound excellent so far (13 mins in ish so far) out of curiosity, and apologies fi you've mentioned it but I missed it, or are about to, but how are you recoding on this video? USB out of the GTX?
It was a Marshall Valvestate combo that you played in high school. I played it for many years afterward haha. It was great in my Nintendo music cover band. Smooth lead harmonies. I almost prefer the solid state for that stuff.
You got some good tones out of that GTX100, totally useable. My favourite Fender Micro model with an OD is the "’65 Deluxe + Greenbox OD" (65 Deluxe Reverb and Tube Screamer clone), but I'm not a fan of the Micro's Vox or Marshall models, the "’60s and 70s British". It's great the GTX sounds so good.
@@blazeofglory1982 ok i understand, but talking about Gibson/marshall videos and never show or talk about the amp is dissepointing for somone who is many buing the Mustang GTX100. Wel thanks fore your reaction.

It’s sounds great!
Yeah. I think I’m about to set it and forget it. The Brad AC 30 gave me Bakersfield!!!

Thanks so much! I’m recording using a Shure MV88 condenser mic plugged into an iPhone 12 Pro.
Hey Brandon, great video. Please could you do a video on how to get Beatles / Kinks sound out of the GTX ? Many thanks 😊🙏🇬🇧
I’ll see what I can do!
@@blazeofglory1982 that’s great thank you so much 👍🏻🇬🇧
May I ask what is your global EQ?
Thank you in advance.

The 65 Deluxe setting is great. I use it all the time.
JTM45?
Ahh, I didn’t try the JTM for this video. I’ll check it out.
OK part 2, why don't you share settings, #, or source so we can get you are here doing, great?
I’m afraid I didn’t get screen shots of the settings for this vid. It can really vary depending on the guitar you’re using and the room you’re in.
@@blazeofglory1982 Yes to all of above fellow friday night jammer...
But it's nice to have a starting point.
British 80's amp for JCM-800?
Why are you only talk about marshall and gibson is Fender a dirty word for you?
No I love Fender. Obviously I bought a Fender amp. I’m this video I wanted to showcase how well this Fender amp models British style amps.
