Rachel is amazing. She got all of the little filigrees that even Gentle Giant didn't do live, the chromatic eighth-note triplets in the 5/4 section and that arpeggioid run at the end of the outro riff.
What a talented lady and very ably supported. Great to see Gary and Malcolm. Mr. Mortimore absolutely rock solid.

Imagine how difficult is to play that complex piano parts and sing at the same time.

Yes, I am totally addict to GG, but Rachel has been toying with the other best prog band for a long time. And I hope no sooner she will toy with the other best prog band. Then we may say Rachel has dominion over the three best prog there ever was? No disrespect to Yes, the fourth best.
Of course the third is Genesis.
Jose Andrade kinda depends who you ask...my top bands are the same, but in a different order. Genesis tops my list. Not that you asked, I’m just passing through...
@@russell_szabados The order is irrelevant, but you have a point: Genesis is a band, as well as GG. And their music was also collective and democratic, that's why they found the process so tiring, everyone should agree. I absolutely love ELP. but I must admit that it was a bit of "Keith Emerson and his muchachos". Ah, and the form in which Genesis music stood the test of time, and also every kind of arrangement that was made out of it, is remarkable. That was heavy stuff contemporary composition, so superior than the other so-called contemporary composers, more concerned with "novelty" rather than with "music"...
Jose Andrade we’re on the same page, my friend. There’s so many things I love about Genesis, and the unique creative visions of Peter, Tony, Mike and sometimes Steve, and then Phil, Tony & Mike ALWAYS made for quality rock music that was smart, inventive and beautifully melodic. Even the blatantly commercial tracks on Invisible Touch and We Can’t Dance are unmistakably Genesis, and of a quality that’s head and shoulders above almost every other rock band. As much as I love ELP, Gentle Giant, Yes, U.K., and all the rest, I cannot express that same sentiment about any of them, they all have clunkers. Jeez, I mean let’s talk Tormato, Love Beach, Giant For a Day (which I love for a very specific reason unrelated to this comment), Too Old to Rock n Roll...
Everyone’s got the result of a bad day/week/month(s) in their discography except for Genesis. In my humble opinion, of course. 😄

Obviously the guy on the floor. Met some of his family in orlando, my home town, of all places. Played for a NEw Years party. athrow together band we sucked, and homey usually don't play that. A valiant effort by this club band. See rachel in the Fan video. TALENTED!!

Jesus! I'm terrified of her. I didn't know her. I heard a comment that Carl should have added her to the legacy band. I'm crying with emotion to see such skill, such talent! She is perfect! FANTASTIC. Thank you so much Lord, for me being a musician too.

I used to despair when a great musician, singer artist passed away, but then I thought "someone will come along who is as good or surpasses" along come Rachel!

Yes, Kerry Minnear's performances are a huge pain in the ass for everyone, although I presume that Jordan Rudess's renditions of GG are hard for Kerry. Sorry for this comment, Kerry, but one thing's for shure: it is you who wrote all those unbelievable lines. Your taste is second to none!

I continue to be impressed by her even though I already know she's a monstrous talent. Her vocal needs to be louder in the mix but her keyboard part was outstanding. I saw her during The Yes Royal Affair tour in Irvine for the post concert meet & greet with the band.
