It doesn't smell like most other sewers, it smell like a sewer but has very soapy smell about it, I haven’t been down there but i've looked closely down the grates and it gives off a smell. The main thing i could smell was this musty soapy smell
Awesome thanks for the video, i love the architecture of these Victorian marvels ,the brick work in these places is incredible. Just wondering if you could fix maybe a gopro's or something on the ceiling or upper walls well above the water line to show some of these spots/locations when the sewers are in heavy flow or flood?....no ones really done that in London sewers.

These sewers are both completely disgusting and completely interesting at the same time. Sadly I can't explore sewers due to having cystic fibrosis. These sewers look like they go on for miles. Were they over engineered when they were built? as they seem like they are original and also big enough for the high demand of modern London.
