A magic top 10 collection of coins. On the countdown when the 1836 half crown came in 8th and the godless florin came in 5th, I thought wow Ethan must have some stunners to come. You didn’t disappoint. 🤩Thanks for showing them off. 🍻
My favourite coin I own is also a George IV crown!! Though mine is 1822. It’s such an excellent coin. The combination of one of the best royal portraits ever on the obverse, plus the beautiful St George design on the reverse is just perfection. It cannot be beat. Plus ours are in virtually the exact same condition it seems, which is neat.
They are all great. Its hard to pick the best, but from a scarcity point of view, the gold coin - for sheer beauty the W4 halfcrown and sheer enjoyment your Cartwheel. Again your passion just shines through, those coins are lucky to have you owning them!
Great Top 10!! I have a 1797 tuppence in my collection too. I do have a soft spot for that particular coin. The coin is probably close to my number one favourite as it is part of Australia's first coinage (I'm descendant of a First Fleeter), plus it's a George III coin. Another of my ancestors, my 5x great grandfather, was the second chaplain of the New South Wales colony and on his farm, he had a flock of Suffolk sheep. He took barrels of wool back to London to have it made into a suit, and he wore the suit when he had an audience with George III. The King was so impressed by the quality of the wool that he gifted my 5x great grandfather a number of marinos from the Windsor estate royal flock. So a little bit of family history entwined with that era. Also, my dad told me that when he was a kid, he and his brothers would roll old cartwheel tuppences they'd found in the garage down the concrete driveway in races (I was shocked at that, but that's what young kids did for fun back in the early 1960's).

Thank you very much indeed 😁
Fantastic top ten. The Crown is a worthy winner. Though the Cartwheel penny is great, they are so tactile and feel so fab in the palm of your hand!
Absolutely 😁💯
Thank you 👍

Wow that's an amazing family story
Adds great meaning to such a coin 😁
my vote are 1845 florin goddess (collector choice) and 2021 2 or 5-pound beasts completer (art piece) 😍
Great choices
Great little collection, can’t disagree, an Edward VII Florin or Queen Anne half crown might have made it in,
Thank you very much 👍
i love the double florin, its design and also the fact that it's still legal tender which makes it an even more interesting coin in my opinion!
Very great choice 😁😁
All of you have great selections so a great start to your collecting and so many years ahead just wish i had the time left
