I was collecting and watching cents. Then, I dropped the hobby like a hot rock, even though I came across a double strike reverse side cent. After watching your video, I've started to dive back into the hobby. Thanks so much for your info.
I want to thank you for a good video. The extra effort of listing the 15 coins with a description is very very helpful. I wish all the other coin sites would do this. That extra touch let’s us know out here looking for coins that you want us to succeed. Great coin info. Thank you.
I had 6coin of 1999 with me that is true sir I would like to find out how I could prepare to show it to coin collectors in one day thank for giving us information very sincerely and God blessed and your family well being success
My grandfather inspired me with his coin collections as a little girl in the 60's; Over the course of my lifetime, I've enjoyed learning more about collecting coins, what to look for and how to tell if they truly are valuable. I still enjoy this hobby in my fifty years. Who knows? I just may have a few very rare coins lying around! Thank you for inspiring me once again!
I have been collecting for 40 years. I started at age 10 with my grandmother. I kept a rolls of cents from each year. Excluding proof coins, I have one roll each of each mint starting in 1986. It's a really good idea for new collectors to start doing this, and after the years go by you can pick a rainy day and see what you've got. I also inherited my grandmother's coins. Multiple rolls of wheat cents and Indian cents. I did search those and was lucky to come up with a 1922 no mint mark Lincoln cent in very fine condition. I haven't had this slabbed ,yet but I plan on it. Happy Hunting!! Great content on this channel
If your 1944s are copper they aren't worth much more than 1 penny. I have several also. You need a 44 steel penny or a 43 copper penny to make some good money! @user-ib9kg2gv7f
Happy New 2023 Year hopefully all is well and good for you everything wherever you are, you haven't made a TH-cam videos for a year . Great work of historical American pennies and thanks for all the information it's greatly appreciated stay saved may God bless you

Hello Hidden History, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. It's always great to hear the positive feedback. Please continue letting me know the content you wish to see. Best Regards, Currency World
It was nice to learn about the coins I have a few questions 1. Have ever seen a 1992 steel penny? 2. How rare is a 2008 Penny? 3. Is a 1943 steel San Francisco penny worth anything ??
I actually just went through my pennies yesterday I have a few wheat pennies and the years you talked about . Quite amazing how today this channel pops up on my U- Tube ☺️
The Flying Eagle (small) Cent described as an "1853" (#5, 09:41 of the video) was issued in 1856 (as shown in the images). Pattern coins (trial strikes of proposed coinage designs) of cents had been made in variations of the Flying Eagle design in 1854 and 1855 as well, the design having its roots in the Christian Gobrecht Dollars that were minted from 1836 - 39 which are considered by many to be the most beautiful U.S. coin issued for circulation. The 1856 FE Cent and 1864 Small Motto Two Cent are both truly pattern coins, but have long been included as part of the 'set' of the series they spawned. Pattern coins are a whole other fascinating world of United States coinage with many examples of astounding beauty, most struck in proof finishes and having been stored carefully over the years.
My dad collected coins in the mid 1950s and used to search bags of pennies from his local rural bank back then. Most valuable penny he found at that time was a 1914D. Not in great but decent condition, and found at a time when there were certainly more in circulation than would be found now. He actually filled his collection up to the early 60s with every standard Lincoln cent except for the 1909VDBS and the 1931S. All found by searching bags of pennies. Back then it was also not uncommon to come across a few of the later indian pennies which he found also. Ah, the good ol' days!
I found a penny on the ground as I was walking into work a few years ago. As I was giving change to someone, there was a weird looking penny in the penniesso I bought it with the penny I had found earlier. Turns out that the ‘new’ penny was an 1887 penny.
I have all of those coins and Indian coins, if you have sold your coins and got very good amount of money, can you please tell me the website address here? I have been searching for the coin buyer to sell from one and half years.
My great grandfather collected penny’s in the 1950s-1980s I have rolls of weats and some look uncirculated , this video is gonna have me pulling them out and going through them all there are a few hundred easily at least thanks for motivation !
I used to collect any kinds of coins and also some old coins from 1999 to 1959 and 1960 to 2000 and I always watched you guys channel but I love you guys show but I don't know how to sell My coins
Hi Neil, It would be worth about $35 on the high end if the coin was graded mint state or better. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching. Please consider subscribing if you have not already. Best regards, ACI

I have been saving pennies since i was 3. 1956 D with a mistake on the rear, 1940 , 1909 I have all but 4 since 1909. Where do you take the collection to be fairly appraised?
It was time for my break yesterday and I always pick up pennies there was a 1944 no mint laying in the walk way. And thank you for the education on your sight. I also under stood all of it.
❤️❤️❤️love your video and THANK YOU SO MUCH PLEASE DO MORE VIDEOS MY GRANDFATHER WHO PASSED LEFT ME A LOT OF OLD PAPER MONEY FROM OTHER COUNTRYS THAT WERE USED AROUND WORLD WAR 2 for our soldiers some people told me it’s worthless just to hold on to it and he left me a bunch of penny’s thanks to your video hopefully I find one penny that’s worth something I know he had this old paper money and penny’s from the late 1940s till he passed in early 90s anyhow love your video I just found you today and will be looking out for more of your videos you explain great
Hi Natalina, Thanks very much for your kind words. I am glad you enjoyed the video. Sounds like you inherited a great collection from your grandfather. I would hold on to all of it. Best regard, ACI
when i was a boy of 13yrs, I worked on a bakery delivery truck. I was counting my tips, and told the driver, hay look the 55 on the penny was doubled...yeah just throw it back in your box. this was about the winter of 1965.
Another very good video, I never took the time to look through all my old coins always wondering what to look for? Now I know a little more and will be looking through my old wheat pennies very carefully.
very informative, thank you! NOTE: in your video, when you're talking about penny #5 from 1853, it's actually showing a penny from 1856. also, penny #8....mixup over 1914 and 1941 (novice and very recent collector, but I AM paying attention! )
1914-S is probably my rarest penny. Far from mint condition though. Personally I think it's a lot more fun to collect coins from circulation than to buy uncirculated ones even if they dont look as good
took notes and I am going to go through my wheat penny collection this winter break to see if I have any winners :) I've been collecting them, on and off, for most of my life, so I have a few ;)
I have also just been throwing wheatleafs into my jewelry box for years. I was bored a couple weeks ago and decided to look through them with a jewelers loupe. Found a 1941 no mint with extra words going backwards slanted on Lincolns profile !! You cant even notice this without loupe. Get them pennies out! Get a loupe...good luck!
Thanks for the video, very informative and will now pay more attention and hold my pennies. My son and i started collecting state and national parks quarters and its so cool to see these type of older coins.
After listening to your top15 valuable coins I realized I have a collection of my grandfathers that was completed by dad and given to me. The collection is full and complete starting in 1909. It has been in a safe box for decades. I took notes and i have six out of the ten coins in prestigious condition.
Hi Susan, That's amazing! It sounds like you have some truly remarkable coins. I would recommend getting the entire collection graded by NGC or PCGS and submitting it to Heritage for auction if you are interested in selling. If not, that the collection will make for a fantastic family heirloom! I'm glad this video helped. Please consider subscribing if you have not already. Best regards, ACI
Liked your video and wanted to ask you because of your knowledge,is a penny from 1931 with a slant on the one before the nine have any kind of value as a die error? Thank you for your input
I have a 1943D in great condition. I have 1944D Lincoln Wheat Penny’s and more. I need to know what Grading company to use and how long it would take to grade it. I have a lot more I have had for years. Thank you for your knowledge.
Well in my opinion one of the Rarest Penny to get, is by far the 1922 no D penny. If you get lucky and get one you are well off. I have a 1922 weak D for now. Thanks for sharing!
Recently, I happened to pick up a 1943-S Lincoln penny graded by both NGC & PGCS as MS63. What makes this coin special, the Lincoln penny was produced on a10c silver planchet.
I'm a 71 yrs old man. When I was a young boy I would always keep coins that looked different than they should. Since I was about 10 yrs old, I have had a Bronze or Copper (I don't know which) 1943 Lincoln Penny. It didn't have much wear on it but it has very many marks on it. When I was about 15 or so, I got a loop lens and started looking at my collection of coins. Walking Liberty Half's and Liberty Silver Dollars are my favorites. Anyway, When I got the loop lens is when I realized that the Lincoln penny was a 1943! Unlucky for me ( I think) is all the marks on it from what I guessed to be from a grinder that it along with many others were put in to prepare them to be melted down and somehow it got thrown out on to the floor and a worker picked it up and put in his pocket, or it was in the road and got ran over be a vehicle. Its really a shame. I still have it and all my other coins and for the past month I have been looking them over and grading them according to the 2019 R.S. Yeoman Official Red Book. Getting them ready to sell since i'm nearing the end of my life. I'm having a delightful time looking at them again after so many years, even still I look at my change but don't get much now days I use my credit card for about everything LOL. Last week I ordered a digital microscope and started really seeing much more than with a loop lens! I've come across some coin errors that aren't in the book! So far I've looked at about 400 coins and have along ways to go. I didn't realize until this past week that I have thousands of coins! LOL! Some from my grandparents and parents. Well anyway, I enjoyed your video here and I wanted to share with you about my 1943 penny.
May Jesus bless you and keep you. I know you probably lived a long full life. Thank you for sharing your story. When it is time, may you go in peace. Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and you shall recieve the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38 This is salvation.
When I was young about 20 years ago my dad and I used to go through his coin collection and he taught me a lot. We had coins from the early 1800's on. He passed in 2004 and I was always told by his wife that she would hold on to them until I was old enough. I'm 29 now and every time I bring them up there is always some excuse like she has them in a safe spot over at her friends house or something. I loved looking at those coins with my dad and spending time with him, I wonder if I will ever see them again. If you ever need to get rid of some old coins that may not be worth much but in the hands of someone who will appreciate them I would love to appreciate them.
I’ve had a 1955 double die in ms-64 condition graded by PCGS and the 1909-S VDB graded ms-64 also by PCGS and quite a few other key dates and semi-key dates along with buffalo nickels and Morgan dollars in including the key date 1893-S in fine 15 Unfortunately I sold them all to buy rental property The house went down in value while the coins went up Go figure Great video thank you
Hi Whitevoyager, It’s great to hear that you have gotten into collecting! I’m glad my videos were able to help you. Thank you for watching. Please consider subscribing if you have not already. Best, ACI
I have a 1926 S in my Dads penny board and it is in real crisp condition and a 1909 DVB and others,I get conflicting answers on the value of them what are they worth? Thanks Bob.
Hi Watch 1738, Thank you for watching! I am glad you enjoyed this video, it's always wonderful to receive positive feedback. What was your favorite coin from the video? Please consider subscribing if you have not already. Be sure to check out my other Top 10 and Top 15 video series on pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, half dollars, and silver dollars. I look forward to hearing from you again very soon on the channel.
Awesome video. Haven't found any of those yet. Found 1936 ddo-001, 002, and 003 in well circulated condition. Found in 1lb bags(about 150 wheats) I buy for $8-$12 deoending cause he has three different grades. I try and avoid the $8/lb bags which are just wheats brought in by customers and he fills a bucket with them. The $10/lb bags come from your standard bag o wheats that costs $225 for 5000 wheats. They are all right, but the "better wheats" $12/lb and $275 for 5000 are just what the name says, better. It's well worth the premium I believe.
Hi Adam, Wow sounds like you have made some very great finds. It also sounds like you have a lot of hunting and cataloging to do. That is always fun. Thanks a lot for watching. Please consider subscribing if you have not already. I look forward to hearing more about your finds! Best, ACI
Very interesting and informative. I have a ton of pennies as I just don't spend them. Your article has made me want to look thru them with my microscope. I did find one 1969D with an error on the 1. It is a gem state. Hasn't been appraised, though.
A few years back I reached in my pocket to grab some change to give to a cashier and just happened to notice I was getting ready to hand her a rare indian head penny from the year 1900! I usually barely even look when handling change especially pennies but somehow, luckily this one caught my eye. Makes me wonder how many other rare coins have passed through my hands. Obviously I'm not the only one who doesn't really pay attention. I'm still baffled how a 1900 indian head penny ended up in my pocket and amazed that I actually noticed it! It's actually in pretty decent shape too!
@@spirituallyinspiredwriter YES! I agree whith you 100%! You read between the lines. When I wrote that I was kind of holding back on what that really meant to me. A YT channel about money didn't seem like the place to totally open up.... But now that you mention it, to me it was way deeper than just finding something that might have some material value. I saw it as a very direct confirmation from one of my spirit guides... An old and wise Native American Indian. I had just been going through some "stuff" and was really trying and wishing I could just have a real sit down talk with him. He doesn't say much but when he does it's always just a one liner (planted in my brain) that hit's me like a ton of bricks (clarity!) at just the right time when I need it most. I have zero doubt he was just telling me he's here and listening in a humorous sort of way.
We are in the Age of Aquarius and the songs lyrics are true to form. Seems you are awakening to your true being of light and I'm excited for you. And no, you're not going crazy. We are all born with it, some will never know they a spiritual being having a human experience. This quote I heard Roseanne say -"we are souls with bodies, not bodies with Souls" was one the beginning moments for me. Many will pass on without resonating with that, so they never cultivate it. You will be led to, or guided by angels, spirit guides, and their roles or who they are, are explained by many from experience. It took me a few years to 'weed out' the ones I knew were not on my path. I was led to astrology and numerology and found out who I really am, and I began meditating. Listened to Esther Hicks mostly, about the Laws of the Universe, mainly the Law of Attraction. Seeing any number sequences, repetitive signs or things that are so coincidental you find yourself saying whoa or ah cmon! lately? So much going on by so many things out brains just can't wrap around it. I have learned also that there ARE NO coincidences in this existence, only divine synchronicities. You are not only a drop in the ocean, You Are the ocean in the drop. Only advice because your journey Is your journey. I say with love, stay away from that Quija board. Namaste friend🕉
I have two pennies from 1909 1920 and 1910 1947 1941 1930 1937 and not only pennies but I have nickels dimes and quarters from the early 1900 I also have few necklace from 1937 with the buffalo
excuse me sir, I have recently received a bizar re dime from 1972 it doesn't look like it was aligned when put on the planchette and the obverse side is barely stamped with the torch and it is a different solid either copper or bronze. can you give me advice if I have a fake or even valuable Roosevelt 1972 dime? any advice would be great
I remember in the 70’s and 80’s having some of these Pennies. I used to hold on to some of them because I thought they were unusual. Did not know they had such value. I clearly remember having an Indian head penny.
I thought it was about the material that makes the coins eg bronze, copper etc until i realised its about features. I have Elizabeth II Penny 2012 and 1987...one penny, 2&20 pence.
Hi Love and Light, Thanks for watching. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. The best way to find out what the pennies are worth is through a coin catalogue. A simple google search of the penny, date, and mint mark will yield results of online catalogues that will be helpful. For auctioning less valuable coins I would recommend selling locally or using eBay. For more expensive coins I would recommend a large auction house like Heritage Auctions, although many high ticket items also regularly sell on eBay. I hope that helps. Please consider subscribing if you have not already. I look forward to hearing more from you. Best regards, ACI

Hi there,I have a question : I have a 1907 penny Indian Head how much money I can get and where should I go to sell it? Thanks so much for your answer.
I have my fathers coin collection he has since pazssed but was born in 1021. His coin collection begins in 1909, i have 2 1909 v.d.b. And his collection spans through the 70's.
Hey I have a question? How much is the coin worth? I have a 1975 penny with no mint mark. Then the penny was struck again with the lincon memorial on both sides on a 45° andle from the original strike. Please make a video on a penny like such.
thanks for the video. it was very helpful for me as i am all new to this coin world. you are very good explaining things. you are a very good talker. i found a 1943 penny in a change purse that was probably tree years old.
Hi RnR, Thats a great coin to have in the collection. It sounds like you received quite the inheritance from your great grandfather. Thanks for watching and please consider subscribing if you have not already. I hope to hear more from you soon. Best, ACI
That's awesome! My grandparents also had a lot of coins they collected and every Christmas they would give each of us grandchildren a Big Beautiful U S Silver Dollar. When they pass away I was in the military overseas and my cousins took them all. I never heard anything about it. And my Father didn't do anything about it. I would have at least liked to see all of them. I only seen very large glass jars full of silver coins in my grandmothers bedroom but never got to open the jars and explorer. And I'd have to say, it was my grandparents who are the ones who got me interested in coins. Since I was just a toddler they always gave me a silver dollar at Christmas. The silver dollars were magical special things to me right from the start.
Hello, the information you provided was really helpful. I was given lots of old coins left by my grandmother and i wanted to find out if any are worth something. I found an old indian head penny dated 1898, two dimes on dated 1908 and the other 1941. An Indian nickle from 1930 and an old coin that i don't recognize dated 1898 but it has a ladies head similar to the dime. It looks old and seems like it had stars around on the edge. I have other wheat pennies but none like the ones you just mentioned. I also have two silver dollars one dated 1921, the other is a nixon 1972, a gold dime, silver quarters from 1944. Would you be able to give me information on those coins or where could i find out to see if they are worth anything? Thank you, loved your video.

currencyworld I've got a 1864 indain head penny. I found it in a catus bed bank in 1973. I've still got it. It's in very good condition. I put it in plastic all these years.
I just recently received more coins from father which were my grandfather had . I’ve only gone through a few rolls and the dates range from 1920s to1979. I’m very new at coin collecting and I have found errors on a bunch. I still have 20 rolls left. Any advice how to value some of these. I have a 1956 wheat with no mint mark but the 6 barely shows and penny is in vary good condition.
I have two 1937 Penny's: one has a "D" stamped under the date, the other does not. What is the best method of determining the true value of these coins?
Not only are you respecting history...your a doll. Your coins are beautiful. THANK YOU for speaking in such a relaxing tone.Much appreciated ❤

I have been collecting for 40 years. I started at age 10 with my grandmother. I kept a rolls of cents from each year. Excluding proof coins, I have one roll each of each mint starting in 1986. I LOVE COLLECTING COINS ❤
My son has a 1943 copper penny.
If your 1944s are copper they aren't worth much more than 1 penny. I have several also. You need a 44 steel penny or a 43 copper penny to make some good money!
@user-ib9kg2gv7f
Have been collecting for years now and can’t wait to go thru my collection, now that I know what to look for! Thanks for your video😉

I have 9 of those pennies. Been collecting for 20 years.
Hi. Thanks for the video. I'm new the the coin collecting. Where can I get my coins valuated and maybe even sold.
It was nice to learn about the coins I have a few questions
1. Have ever seen a 1992 steel penny?
2. How rare is a 2008 Penny?
3. Is a 1943 steel San Francisco penny worth anything ??
1. No. They simply don't exist
2. Not rare at all. Hundreds of millions minted
3. Worth about a dime in circulated condition.
I have a 1992 D steel penny. They do exist.
Best coin and currency channel ever!
I was really digging the fact that you included some background and history on all these examples and we're told quite well. thumbs up partner
I actually just went through my pennies yesterday I have a few wheat pennies and the years you talked about . Quite amazing how today this channel pops up on my U- Tube ☺️
Very nice and interesting sharing! Always support and follow the channel ! thank you!

How to get a printout of the pennies.
Your daddy collected United States 1 cent coins. He didn't connect pennies.
Your channel is so very informative I watch it all the time
My great grandfather collected penny’s in the 1950s-1980s I have rolls of weats and some look uncirculated , this video is gonna have me pulling them out and going through them all there are a few hundred easily at least thanks for motivation !
How about the year1989,1982, 1988,1978 so it has no value.
I used to collect any kinds of coins and also some old coins from 1999 to 1959 and 1960 to 2000 and I always watched you guys channel but I love you guys show but I don't know how to sell My coins

What would be a good price for a 1909 VDB penny, in uncirculated condition?
Awesome video. Thanks a lot.
Thank you.
Hi Neil,
It would be worth about $35 on the high end if the coin was graded mint state or better. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching. Please consider subscribing if you have not already.

It was time for my break yesterday and I always pick up pennies there was a 1944 no mint laying in the walk way. And thank you for the education on your sight. I also under stood all of it.

when i was a boy of 13yrs, I worked on a bakery delivery truck.
NOTE: in your video, when you're talking about penny #5 from 1853, it's actually showing a penny from 1856. also, penny #8....mixup over 1914 and 1941 (novice and very recent collector, but I AM paying attention! )
I noticed the 1914/1941 "numismatic Spoonerism" as well... 🙂
1914-S is probably my rarest penny. Far from mint condition though. Personally I think it's a lot more fun to collect coins from circulation than to buy uncirculated ones even if they dont look as good
Yeah the rarest one i have is a 1920
I have 3 "S" & only 1 "D" thus far...1914
Me too
took notes and I am going to go through my wheat penny collection this winter break to see if I have any winners :) I've been collecting them, on and off, for most of my life, so I have a few ;)
Very cool video,, no more leaving my pennys at the coffee shop . I will disect them now.
After listening to your top15 valuable coins I realized I have a collection of my grandfathers that was completed by dad and given to me. The collection is full and complete starting in 1909. It has been in a safe box for decades. I took notes and i have six out of the ten coins in prestigious condition.
Hi Susan,
That's amazing!
Best regards,
ACI
I would have them graged, it will likely raise the value weather you sell or not, it can be costly though.
Liked your video and wanted to ask you because of your knowledge,is a penny from 1931 with a slant on the one before the nine have any kind of value as a die error? Thank you for your input
never responded lol
I have a 1943D in great condition. I have 1944D Lincoln Wheat Penny’s and more. I need to know what Grading company to use and how long it would take to grade it. I have a lot more I have had for years. Thank you for your knowledge.
Well in my opinion one of the Rarest Penny to get, is by far the 1922 no D penny. If you get lucky and get one you are well off. I have a 1922 weak D for now. Thanks for sharing!
I actually have one. I just found it the other day. And just today I learned that it was valuable
Have a Very Nice 1905 Indian Head cent can’t wait to get it graded!!

Recently, I happened to pick up a 1943-S Lincoln penny graded by both NGC & PGCS as MS63. What makes this coin special, the Lincoln penny was produced on a10c silver planchet.
Someone else mentioned they had a penny struck on a dime...
Did u take that for an estimate? Ppl don't know where take their coins it seems
This is a great way to help me and others in great way. Thanks a million

Hello, i have us coins; how can i sell them?
AhmedRicky2009 : I Would really like to see you damaged 43, want to sell it? ill never afford a good one...???let me know, and enjoy your collection!
I’ve had a 1955 double die in ms-64 condition graded by PCGS and the 1909-S VDB graded ms-64 also by PCGS and quite a few other key dates and semi-key dates along with buffalo nickels and Morgan dollars in including the key date 1893-S in fine 15
Unfortunately I sold them all to buy rental property
The house went down in value while the coins went up
Go figure

That was not luck my friend. That was spirit.❤💫

I remember in the 70’s and 80’s having some of these Pennies. I used to hold on to some of them because I thought they were unusual. Did not know they had such value. I clearly remember having an Indian head penny.
And I have a 1943 no mint mark wheat penny
I thought it was about the material that makes the coins eg bronze, copper etc until i realised its about features. I have Elizabeth II Penny 2012 and 1987...one penny, 2&20 pence.
An interesting feature of some British coins is the 'privy mark'. Some issues will be worth far more with certain privy marks than without.

Nice video!
I have quite a few old pennies, ranging from 1938-1972.. how do I find out it’s worth? Or how can I get it to auction?
Hi Love and Light,
Thanks for watching.
Thank you for sharing, although I have been looking to sell some of my coins but where do I go to sell them
Hello, the information you provided was really helpful. Thank you, loved your video.

ok
currencyworld I've got a 1864 indain head penny.

I ALWAYS use Coin trackers.com
Great show, very informative
Hi, I have a 1951 D Wheat and two 1944 no mint marked Wheat pennies. How much do you think it's worth?
How much?
Each of those, in average condition, is worth about five cents. 🙂
