You guys have no idea how much I enjoy watching you find things. Your videos give me some time to sit here in my basement and relax. Thank you for taking the time and effort to record, edit and share with us.
The flower in the Novia Scotia (New Scotland) is a Scottish Thistle. The dog brooch is a Scottish Terrier or a West Highland Terrier which fits well with Nova Scotia roots. Great find! Walking Liberty was amazing. What a property.
I sure wish we had old locations like this in California. It just blows my mind you guys go from house to house getting in incredible finds. Old old coins. Awesome to see! I detect daily here in N. Cal and to see a silver dime even takes many many hours of detecting and research trying to find the oldest sites around. I am hitting a ranch that is old for here. Shows on the oldest topo maps from 1914. I have only dug one old 1914 wheat penny. I have gotten a worlds fare fob from 1920 and a pocket watch from 1924. A piece of jewelry that's 1920's as well. But nothing else but junk so far. It just blows my mind that no silver coins have come out yet. Hopefully soon! And one of these days I hopefully get the chance to make a trip your guys direction and get a shot at some truly old sites. Great videos! Keep them coming!
It's almost surreal when you go to a place and just keep finding older and older and better and better things! When a Walker starts a video and it gets better from there, that's impressive. Great work men!!
The sporting button is my favourite find. 🙂. I have about half a dozen from over here across the pond with horses, hounds, pheasants, rabbits and dogs on them. Some have SPORTING BUTTON written on the back and date to mid Victorian. 🐕🐎🐰.
Hey Guys …. It’s Dan from CT …. ( I sent a police patch ) Still have and love the coins you sent me. I bought an iPad and could not remember your channel name. I finally found it !! Great video and I’m glad to be back. Appreciate all the work you do in making these videos.
I average 3 walkers every year in my short 5 years of DETECTING... This year I found 8 walkers and 2 benjies.... Lake bottom detecting is where there ones came from.... Congrats Doug...I have maybe 20+ walkers in 5 years detecting... ONLY 1 Barber half...a few others Kennedy's and at least 6 benjies total
That altered coin Rich found is incredible! I'd be so stoked to find that. I recently found an altered KGII, someone just carved notches along the edge for no apparent reason. Rich's coin is waaaay cooler, though! Love it! Edit: I’m a dum dum, it was Jason… 😆
Thanks Stef. That coin was actually one of the few things I found, which is rare in its own right since Rich is normally the magnet for all the coolest stuff!
@@QuarterHoarder I swear, my eyeballs aren’t on backwards… 😂 Wow! In my fascination with the coin, I must have INSTANTLY forgot who dug it. 🤦😂 Awesome coin!
Hi everyone, What I find interesting with the 1832 Canadian half penny token is George the 1V died in 1830. Love your videos with the old sites. I am a little jealous of the extra age compared to the Australian sites. My oldest coin being a George the 3rd cartwheel penny.
Jason, another great hunt, haven't seen a bad one yet, we have -20 and a lot of snow so its a waiting game right now that's why I'm glad to watch "cheerful Tuesday" every week..HH...John
Happy Birthday. Doug...! If you're in my area, I'll give you all my dog tags that I've recovered over the years...! QH, your crew has found some real neat stuff
Belated Happy Birthday to Doug. You guys were in my neighborhood - again! That dog is a Scottie, the previous one you found was an Airedale. Both terriers.
Another great video Jason. Really enjoyed watching the guys find those cool relics and coins and a shout out to Doug congrats on the walker. Jason I liked that Canadian half penny token way cool.
That thruppenny bit has three Thrift flowers on it's reverse. One of them would buy me twelve black-jack aniseed chew sweets, or fruit salad chews or a tube of sherbert with a liquorice dip-stick. Mind you, that was in the early 60s in Cornwall, before the English swamped us Celts with themselves😉. That wee coin's flowery message was , "Be wise with your dosh". The flower on the reverse of the Canadian copper is a Scottish Thistle. Another brilliant hunt with some marvellous finds. Well done all, and thank you. Looking forward to Th(o)rs day.
Great video all the way around. I love it when you guys dig up history. Doug, can you, Jason,Rich, Charlie, or Jason please do an episode on how you put the things you find in water with electricity to try to loosen up the crud and help reveal what's underneath. Sure, I can find ' other ' videos on the process.... But it's not my Quarter Hoarder Crew doing it.
Thank you. We might get snowed in this weekend and if so I might just work on a video like that. I have a bunch of stuff that’s overdue for cleaning so this might give me the time I need.
As michelereed5894 said, it is a thistle on the half-cent token. Of course the thistle is emblematic of Scotland, and Nova Scotia translates to New Scotland. Another incredible day for you all, thanks for sharing it with us!
Happy Birthday Doug and Congrats on the Walker Half Dollar. Jason the Canadian Coin is awesome. I found a 1923 1 Centavo one time. This person cut the Coin to make it look like a flower. Love the Samantha Fox Button and Dog Pin. Congrats on all the Coins Buttons and Relics. Charlie nice Ted Williams Ring. Take Care everyone hooe all of you get to make it back there.
Rich I dug a 1920 (converted to apartments) school downtown in Greensboro and found an 1873 and 1874 IHP and a 1772 KG3 1/2 penny all about 30 ft apart. I donated the 1/2 penny to the Greensboro Museum :). You guys are so lucky living where you do :)
Great hunt, congratulations on all the awesome finds! Nothing like an old colonial property that hasn't been detected! Hope the next trip there gives up some more! 😎👍
I love it when these property owners allow you guys to plug around their yards. To that end I'm going to drop a potential lead into your email box for your champion door knockers to get to work on. Well done gents.
Great stuff guys. What's bugging me is I can't help but wonder if anyone has ever probed out the privies and dug them There could be some incredible bottles and pottery in those pits. ❤
I really miss detecting but right now i can't. My garret is in storage at my sons house and i have some health issues that i'm trying to recover from. But I love watching !!!!
At 56 and raised my 3 kids I would love to do what you guys are doing but it's still just a dream
I had my wedding reception in the building across the street- can’t believe I didn’t see this episode.
Let’s go let’s go treasure and adventure 👵❤️🌺🇺🇸🎉🌎✌️
You guys have no idea how much I enjoy watching you find things. Your videos give me some time to sit here in my basement and relax. Thank you for taking the time and effort to record, edit and share with us.
The square with the 5c on it is a Dutch coin from 1941 to 1943. Awesome to find it all the way over there in the States! Great video!
It is a war coin made of zink, because other metals were used for
war production.
The flower in the Novia Scotia (New Scotland) is a Scottish Thistle. The dog brooch is a Scottish Terrier or a West Highland Terrier which fits well with Nova Scotia roots. Great find! Walking Liberty was amazing. What a property.
New to metal detecting and loving this channel. Keep up the great content and information gents!
So many great finds… awesome permission. That Canadian coin altered with the scalloped edge was wicked cool Jason 💥
So happy for another video during these cold times!!! Great finds guys!!!

KK knows her dogs. 🐶
Rich with the "It's a year and a half old"' then exit stage left. That had me rolling.
The sporting button is my favourite find. 🙂. I have about half a dozen from over here across the pond with horses, hounds, pheasants, rabbits and dogs on them. Some have SPORTING BUTTON written on the back and date to mid Victorian. 🐕🐎🐰.

The question being, where didn’t G. Washington sleep 🛌 😂. Awesome episode Q.H. 👌
It’s a Scottish Terrier. My mutt looks like a small version of one. She’s so cute. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😊

Not a thistle.Mountain Avens.
Amazing guys!
Least favorite detecting channel. Production digging yard after yard and obnoxious commentary.
