It’s the first review that I have seen on this watch. I have been looking at one of these for awhile now as I live in Colchester , am from Colchester and my nephew is currently in the paras. This review has probably now twisted my arm. Excellent review
Let me know what you think. I'm ex reg and a watch enthusiast. The stats on this watch are awesome but the look is a bit lacking compared to the Lympstone model. I get it's light for paratroopers and the gaps in the watch look like rigging lines when you look up at the canopy but I personally love divers. And a Bezel will always come in handy for timing H hour 💥
@@JasonTheWatchGuy loaned/purchase it’s all the same lol. After you popped the crown I literally paused the video, went to the Christopher ward website and purchased a C63 Colchester 😂😂😂
Tremendous piece Jason, absolutely love it. Christopher Ward imo is just an amazing company. They manufacture brilliant watches, superb quality, absolutely fenomenal customer service and one of rhe best warranties in the industry. I have a C63 Sealander Automatic and it is just terrific. Thank you for sharing and have a great day my friend.
Very cool piece! Nice to see a hands on video with this watch! Yours might be the first I’ve seen! I’ve got a CW watch coming in for review soon too! Such a great brand!
A question, knowing the the crown comes out not by screw down, but via pressing and it springs out. Have you tried to see whether the crown comes out very easily or is prone to accidental ejection? I am keen on getting it but just concerned that the crown might just pop out easily during outdoor or tougher use. :)
Now that's a great looking watch! The burgundy really sets off the case. That case back is unique and is impressive as well. The packaging is also impressive. No plastic! Great video! Cheers!
That has got to be the nicest watch you have ever reviewed. Your excitement was evident when you were unboxing it and is justified. Out of my budget but I’d love one. Not first today because I’m at work however I’ve been sat in the van for however long this video is. Better get back to it. Awesome video of an awesome watch.
Could possibly be, anything I can think of to compare to it is at least 3 times the price 😅 I'll let you off, seeing that you took a break for this haha. Thanks buddy!
I do like the look of the sealander & also the recently reintroduced Malvern. Haven’t seen either in the flesh yet though. Good on yer brother for making it into the Paras.
Nice! I was worried when you were trying to dig the crown out with your nail… You have to pop it out like a ballpoint pen! The Christopher ward owner said he had the idea because the crown on one of his regular watches was digging into the back of his hand while he was training on his bike, so it’s a new sports watch and it looks amazing! Would love to try this one.
Love it! Thanks. Have been looking in the tube to see this watch. Is the buckle made of the same material as the case? Looking forward for the full review of the lovely timepiece! Thanks
I have the all Titanium version of this watch (C63 Sealander Elite) and it's stunning with beautiful finishing. I'm sure you can't realistically compare the two, but it reminds me somehow of the unobtainable Vacheron Constantin Overseas Everest.
Yes definitely!!!! What year was that? I would love to doit again ive done the course in qualification para time twice but my knees are shot now and only 38 😥
Carbon dials look great in reviews but now that I actually own one I don't really care for it, in certain lights and from certain angles I keep thinking the watch face could do with a wipe clean when it's absolutely spotless. Good review and a good looking watch though.
@@JasonTheWatchGuy I’m ex military with an 8” wrist … and a good size penis in case you’re wondering 😁 Maybe it’s those with small wrists that buy this Para watch that are compensating 😏

Another reviewer released one yesterday I think! Good on him, not an easy route to take in life at all!

Had to loan it 😂😂😂

Hahahaha! Hope you've told them I sent you 😂 seriously though, fantastic watch, enjoy it and wear it in good health

Couldn't agree more with all of those points! One of the incredibly rare companies in the industry that get it right pretty much every time!
Thanks for reviewing Jason! great video.
It is ridiculously fun to see you this excited, Jason! Can’t wait to see the full review.
Haha, it's really fun for me too 😂 thank you
That crown! I saw you picking at it and thought, “I wouldn’t be able to pop that out either!” Then, BOOM! He pushed the release…angels sang.
Thats literally the sound I got in my head 😂
This brand is amazing. I really want one in my collection.
I have one that I'm fixing up around somewhere...one of those 'some day' jobs
I have been considering buying this bad lad for a while and I needed this video
Review soon too! Loving it

They keep going from strength to strength for me! Had to get this one in on loan once I saw it
this one is just eye catcher. love the pushed crown❣️
Me too, brilliant ingenuity from them

Yeh, really ties in the Para feeling too! They really know how to put together a watch

Loving all the recent Christopher Ward releases, look much better now they have put the logo back at 12 o'clock.
Me too, they keep going from strength to strength
I got the slight impression you kind of like that watch just a bit Well it's very easy to see why Can't wait for your review Thanks my friend 👍
Only a little bit haha! Really enjoying it at the moment
Awesome unboxing Jason. That carbon fibre case and dial absolutely takes this C63 to the next level 🤯 Can’t wait for the full review!
Insane pieces these, fantastic job by Ward. Enjoying the wearing phase right now
1st CW I really like !
Trick with crown is another level ! I love it !
This one certainly is a level above the others I've seen! Amazing piece
Just wow, that is incredible and that crown 🤯. The case is spectacular too, I can see why it cost what it does.
Same here, surely they could be asking elite prices for this
Stunning!
Got my first Christopher Ward 2 weeks ago
Hows it feeling?
They are great watches, the 2 CW I bought run @+2 secs per day without being COSC-certified!
Fantastic result to be fair to them! Amazing value too
I don't usually like Christopher Ward watches, nor "black" (usually PVD, let's be honest) watches but this is actually a bit of a stunner.
Definitely a level above the usual everyday watches
I do like the look of the sealander & also the recently reintroduced Malvern. Haven’t seen either in the flesh yet though. Good on yer brother for making it into the Paras.
Theyre releasing some really special pieces. He's a special kid, special mindset

It's the same material, matches perfectly for me

Wish I had the chance to see that Vacheron 🙃
Looking forward to some macro shots. The weight is incredible and with the tie-in to your brothers' regiment you practically have to buy it!😉
Excited to take them! Definitely taking out the big camera for this one
"Ding dong"....🏴⌚🏴⌚
Man that's a nice watch , need me a Ward 🙌
Love it! Also have a c60 around somewhere 🤔
Absolutely love that watch man 😍😍😍
Ive done 4 para 10's in my time, done 1 at Colchester 1 at aldershot 2 at catterick. I might start saving.
I've been to Catterick to see my brother pass out and his visit day...have an embarrassing photo I'll have to dig out for the review too
Yes definitely!!!!
What year was that?
I would love to doit again ive done the course in qualification para time twice but my knees are shot now and only 38 😥
Respect to ya bro 🤜🤛
Would have been 2015 I think! Long time now!
Respect just being able to do that, takes some serious physical and mental toughness
Titanium yes, carbon fibre is just epoxy resin and carbon cloth ,I get a Casio vibe from this watch, but I agree it is Quality 👍
I really like it myself, nice to see other materials being used
Dang that a cool watch!!! 😅😅😎😎👍👍
Yes my man!
Carbon dials look great in reviews but now that I actually own one I don't really care for it, in certain lights and from certain angles I keep thinking the watch face could do with a wipe clean when it's absolutely spotless. Good review and a good looking watch though.
Quite like them myself but I guess it's a case of each to their own
Great Review Jayson
I wouldn't call this a Swiss Luxury watch.
I would say it's a nice watch that's made in Switzerland.
What Army does your brother serve in ?
He serves in the British Army, been there since 2015 now
I'm not sure how I feel about the material. Big fan of CW thought. When you were trying to pull the crown out it was giving me anxiety. 😂
When I realised I properly freaked out haha
@@JasonTheWatchGuy ha ha. It's a nice party trick.
CW make great Watches and the quality is very very nearly Omega standards, I have more than one Omega and 20 Christopher Ward Watches.
Jesus, there's other brands out there you know haha
@@JasonTheWatchGuy Oh I have a few others as well 😁
Just fab
Your bro is Para 2 or 2 Para?
He's 2 Para
@@JasonTheWatchGuy rgr that, thought he was a screaming NAAFI commando for a minute (AKA RAF REG) 🤦🏻♂️
Hahaha! Oh no, he'd probably also kill me for confusing the two...he's quite proud of his reg 😅
A PARA watch, for us real men … and they go and make it 41mm for girly wrists! What a huge fail … and I haven’t even mentioned the Bezel yet!!!
Definitely sounds like you're compensating for something here mate
