I have the Trident. Had it coming up two years now. Fantastic watch. The bracelet is the best on any watch I've owned. I also bought the rubber strap and travel pod. All excellent quality and value for money.
Another club member here. I have the C65 Super Compressor. A genuine compressor; old fashioned technology in an automatic watch. Both totally unnecessary in this modern world but it makes me love it even more. It’s a beauty. The blue, orange and white absolutely sing on a sunny day. Wonderful watch.

Christopher ward broke my heart. Bought the super compressor to celebrate my son's birth. Watch was misaligned and running really slow. Sent back and waited 4 months for repair. When I received it back, I'd completely fallen out of love with it.
Great video Russ. I have two CW’s, their very first Malvern C5 from 2005 and a C7 Le Mans. CW have been through a few logo changes to reduce the busyness of the full name on the dial I guess.I quite like the new ‘jigsaw’ one as it cleverly represents the English flag (cross of St George) and the Swiss flag (white cross) as CW’s are designed in England and made in Switzerland, mostly with Swiss movements. Now you know
I've got 3 CW's, my 1st was a c60 mk1 which I adore. Must be at least 10 years ago I bought that. So close to a video without mentioning the logo lol, as a CW fan it's always a hot topic
My v1 Dartmouth is a phenomenal watch and one that I will never sell but I would love to add another CW to the collection. The Cranwell, Colchester or a sealander varient are all viable options.

CW is a great brand. They design watches with the customer's requests in mind. I bought a 300 Trident as my first CW and was instantly blown away by the features/spec of the watch. My latest purchase is the stunningly beautiful "Twelve". Such a handsome watch and the only watch in my collection that has been commented on repeatedly in conversations.
Thank you Russell for presenting some Christopher Ward watches that I haven’t seen a lot of and, Wow, I do like all three of these and that diver is a bit Blanc Pany and I mean that in a very good way! I also prefer the old logo to then newer logo myself.
I really admire Christopher Ward. They offer such fantastic value for money. I’d very happily have any of these three military inspired beauties but the C63 Colchester really caught my eye. It’s probably too modern looking for me but forged carbon case and dial really appeals to me. Awesome look at a great company MWC!

The light catcher case is the main reason I sold my Sandhurst, it felt jarring for a military/field watch. Plus the clasp is disproportionate and never sat well underneath my wrist.
I've got the Dartmouth on the metal strap (less blue!), and it's so lovely. I really love the lume, but it does trip itself up a bit as, at a certain point, the loom seems to fade to a point where it can be difficult to make out the hands from the face, but that's only when I'm not wearing my reading glasses, and I forgive it because it's so beautiful and comfortable.
It took a logo change for me to get one… I just didn’t like having “Christopher Ward” on the dial. I got the C60 pro and it’s a solid watch, I went to their showroom to pick it up which added to the experience.
Good selections and nice reviews, especially your wife’s take on them. been itching for the C60 GMT. I’m just weary about the customs and taxes getting it here in US.

I must admit I have never seen a CW design that I have liked, swiss made turns me off a bit, usually bumps the price up for not much better quality, when ever I see a cw I always find a better design and better value elsewhere, I prefer the smaller micro brands.

While I like your videos its clear I have different taste to you in watches. I love my CW C60 pro trident and I really love the Trident sec hand because it looks great and is not boring like plain sec hand ends on most watches. Not sure why you would not like the look of it plus the size is spot on as well so odd but hey different tastes I guess.
I think their design and finishing is truly pretty good at its price point. However, my experience with their customer support isnt that great. As much as i want to own another CW, im having 2nd thoughts

I would buy the C63 sealander, black dial with red. 39mm. Love the red accents. However, the accuracy and power reserve just isn't there for me. Tissot gentleman (similar price point and style) has great power reserve and accuracy.. but it's just a bit plain. So I've bought neither

Got a C65 manual wind diver in 2020 that was a tad big for me. Maybe it was the name but I think it just wasn’t getting any wrist time. Now! Since that time I’ve been deep in this hobby I mean DEEP . I’ve been privy to seeing behind the scenes stuff at CW and meeting and speaking to the staff including the watchmakers and the top dogs like Mike France. When you start seeing a lot of faces to a brand (on a human level) you start to feel more of a connection to them. Now let’s talk about the watches!!! Because 5 years ago yes I’d say there weren’t many designs I liked . The C60 trident was a boring Seamaster looking watch. But god have they worked wonders since?!?! A brand that isn’t just churning out lowest hanging fruit watches?! Nobody asked for the BelCanto nobody asked for the Super Compressor or the Moonphase?!?!?! Or a watch made out of injected carbon?!? I’ve seen this determination to carve out a big dent in the watch market grow and grow and Stephen I’m a fan. CW sent me these watches and I have to send them back . I was not paid anything for the review. My time my effort my views

But listen the British Watchmakers event I went to at the start of the year was pretty much organised by CW!! A brand looking to bring other brands with them on this journey! That was great to know to! You’d buy into a brand that appreciates other brands!

With all due respect. I own CW. They are awesome watches. In fact, the Crown Jewels of my collection. What they are not are everyday allday toolwatches. They are incredible value for money. But it’s objectively still a lot of money whereas my ‘toolwatch’ Casio is not ;)
I will give you only ONE reason why not to buy Chris Ward,their QC is shite,after 7 months my watch died,sellita was dried,no oil, idiots forgot to oil the watch and what I seen on Reddit,You tube and Face there are tons of people which had so manny problems with CW watches!!

So, you bought a watch with a 5 year warranty and took it to a third party when it stopped working? Interesting although at just 7 months old I'd suggest you'd still win in court (not fit for purpose) even if it has been opened. Yes CW can invalidate a warranty but they cannot circumvent the sale of goods act. Specifically section 14. The test would be would the typical consumer expect a watch to last longer than 7 months. And obviously the answer is yes.
I have a real SUB but I also bought one of these replicas from amzwatch for piece of mind if I go to another country or if I am doing activities that can damage the watch. I don't see anything wrong with that.

I just returned my C60 Pro 600 for repairs. It has a spinning rotor when I wind it. I’m not happy I spent $800 for a watch that doesn’t work great

My beater is a CW C60 Chrono...still just 2 secs per day slow & it's been knocked around hard. I also own both original LE Bel Cantos.
I've got two, a titanium C60 trident pro and a bronze C60, both stunning although the bronze is a bit large for me.
I get the hyped around the Belcanto, indeed a masterpiece. But these are outbeated by Seiko in a hush
I have the c65 love it ,the Sandhurst mkll is nice but I prefer the mkl and the Cranwell mkl

What’s the big deal with CW. Using a Sellita movement is not a big deal. Hamilton is bigger deal at least using in-house movements.

I have a real SUB but I also bought one of these replicas from amzwatch for piece of mind if I go to another country or if I am doing activities that can damage the watch. I don't see anything wrong with that.
