This entire series was very helpful and a huge blessing to me. Thank you so much for putting it together.
I’m 42 and I’ve struggled with disordered eating since I was 9. I didn’t know how to eat unless I was either binging or depriving. Fast forward to 6 months ago when I started my journey towards food freedom, and although I can point to areas where I’ve definitely grown, I was starting to feel trapped in this new, much larger body that I find myself in.
Your series helped me see how I was still pseudo dieting and still in bondage to “go big or go home” style exercising. And your videos were very encouraging to help me shift my mindset back to my orginal goals - food and body image freedom.
Thank you for such insightful, wise, and thoughtful content. Your video shorts are funny too!

I’m definitely stuck in the diet mentality. I keep going back to low carb/keto. I hate it & feel sluggish. I’m so worried about being skinny again. So this is helpful 😊

I went back to my country to meet my grandparents for one week and I didn’t really eat anything there because I didn’t know how many calories the food held. I’m back now and I’m trying to be more reasonable with what I eat since before I just ate whatever I could find (due to mental health issues) I’m still tracking calories and starving myself a little bit so that I can “look thin tomorrow morning” I skipped breakfast and lunch but I’ll probably end up binging everything later, I can’t break out of it.

I think the big problem about this is people doesn't have the knowledge. Personally, I'm trying to learn. Your body doesn't know how foods are better for you if you didn't grow up in a environment that give it permission to learn. I didn't have that change and my surroundings push me all the time to eat foods that I don't want or aren't beneficial for my health. Sometimes you need to do the research because your body doesn't came with a manual.
