    Why can you not use this tank in a previous year squrebody? I have a 74 with dual tanks and am ls swapping and am trying to figure out my fuel system

    Hello i was wondering why your not useing metal fuel lines? I my self would run new metlel lines and bends and needed.i try to keep all fuel line's in the frame channels as much as possible for protection. The fuel lines you run at back of engine on fire wall and down to frame top rail worrys me because ruber hose tend to dry crack over time and you have high presher fuel spraying and droping down on hot exshast pipes. I like the ideas of fuel transferred from tank to tank And use factory switch for senders. I need to come by and say hello some time thank Jacob.     I swapped a 97 vortec 5.7 into my 81 k20 and converted the fuel injection back to carb. I used a Holley mighty mite pump in between the tank selector valve and my pressure regulator. While a that works fine for the passenger side tank to feed the engine, that pump wasn't really made to pull fuel as more made to push, and I dont think its strong enough to pull fuel from the drivers side tank to the selector valve. Is there a pump you recommend I can use inbetween the driver tank and selector valve so I don't strain the fuel pump? I might be able to use another mighty might pump but I don't think I can mount it low enough to draw fuel still. Or is there a better inline pump I can use that can draw from both tanks without much trouble?

      The frames on the K10 and K20 are the same. The K30 has a different frame.

      They now make a kit to do these dual efi tanks, which makes it a lot easier.
