AMAZING Guatemalan STREET FOOD + Antigua Walking Tour | Antigua, Guatemala

On my third day in Guatemala in partnership with the Real Intercontinental Guatemala we explored Antigua's main attractions and we ate some amazing Guatemalan street food!

We started our exploration of Antigua by walking through the historical center of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Antigua. We first saw La Carmen Convent ruins, then we went to La Perla to have a quick espresso and then we visited La Merced Church.
From there we made our way across the city and stopped at Santa Catalina Arch which is the icon of Antigua. It's a a 15 century arch built to help the nuns cross from the convent to a school. Next up we saw the Antigua Cathedral ruins. It was destroyed during an earthquake in the year 1773.
We then made a quick stop at La Casa del Ron and tried some amazing Zacapa rums. We tried Zacapa 23, Zacapa Negro and we tried a Colonial rum which is an artisan rum made by the Zacapa brand.
To end the night we headed to the public laundry square and there, there is a lady selling amazing Guatemalan street food. I tried four different things:
-Chuchitos
-Alot del Elote
-Rellenitos de Platano
-Tostada de Ensalada de Pollo
Each thing was amazing and I highly recommend visiting that lady when you head to Antigua. She gets there around 5:30pm.

David, Guatemala has a lot more interesting places that you can visit. The places where you were taken are the most common places people visit but If you ever come back, try visiting the water caves in Coban or the beautiful cities like Panajachel, Xela, and our amazing beaches like Monte Rico or Puerto Barrios and Livingston Guatemala. Rellenitos is made fron sweet mash plantains and sweet black beans, I do like those so so .

That corner, were you ate chuchitos, tostadas, rellenitos, atol de elote was the park where my grandpa just to take me when I was 11 years old, Tanque de la Union. First off, congrats on 1,800 videos, man! That's such an amazing accomplishment! It's breathtaking how beautiful Antigua and its architecture are. The churches, cathedrals, and convents are absolutely stunning, even as ruins. Your shots of them are gorgeous, man. As a history and archaeology buff, I could probably spend hours at the different ruins (and then many more hours researching them and learning as much as I can)! And I love your drone footage. And it's fascinating to learn a bit about the melding of Mayan religion and Christianity, and what that means for the architecture. Looks like you guys had a blast trying the different rums! The chuchito looks so good! The atol de elote drink sounds super interesting, and I'm sure I would love the rellenitos de platano because I'm a huge fan of fried plantains! And the tostada de ensalada de pollo looks like it was incredible. I love a good tostada! It's amazing how inexpensive they all were, too. I love that! Amazing video, as always. This Guatemala series is 🔥🔥🔥🔥, dude!
