On my fifth day in Guatemala in partnership with the Real Intercontinental Guatemala we explored Guatemala City and tried some of the most authentic Guatemalan street food!
Today we head out on a Guatemala City tour where we visit all the top attractions and we eat really authentic Guatemalan street food that you can only dream of.
Our first stop is the Guatemalan Typography Map where you can see what the country looks like with mountains, volcanoes and low lands. Next we head to Zone 1 (the historical center) and visit the central park. There we tried some fresh goat milk, saw the national palace, metropolitan cathedral and then head over the central market.
The central market is the biggest artisan market in Guatemala. We did a little shopping and then went to the lower level and ate some authentic Guatemalan street food. Here is a list of everything I tried:

I am full on Mexican and have family in México and go to México frequently🇲🇽. I'm not Guatemalan but back in May of 2023 I traveled to Guatemala for the first time in my life and it was an amazing experience traveling there, visited the plaza in the capital of Guatemala City, visited Antigua and visited Volcan de Pacaya. I definitely want to travel there again and I recommend traveling to Guatemala everybody such a beautiful country to visit. 🇬🇹

I'm feeling like a broken record here, but I have to say it again: Your Guatemala series has been outstanding, man! The markets, the food, the culture...everything is so beautiful and the food looks so delicious, and I love the way you showcase everything. That topography map is really cool! I've never seen anything like that before. I never would have thought fresh goat milk would be sweet! I definitely learned something new there. Haha, and I guess it would be organic, right? The tacos and tostada look out of this world. I've heard lots of good things about pancita. The pork rind tacos sound super unique and interesting. I've never had blood sausage, but I've heard a lot of great things about it, too! The lemon soup with the pumpkin seeds and beans also sounds really unique and refreshing. And there's nothing like fresh carrot juice! The first time I tried some, it blew my mind! I love anything guava, so I know I'd like that sweet you tried! And the chile relleno with the corn tortilla and sauces sounds delicious as well. Haha, you know something is super spicy when you say it! I'm kinda sad your Guatemalan adventures have come to an end, but I can't wait to see where you go next.

I saw a travel documentary on Netflix of Guatemala. Looks amazing, I've been searching for a vacation destination to celebrate my 30th bday. Guatemala and Peru are my top choices right now.

Your series on Guatemala has been one of your best. In comparision to other vloggers like Mark Wiens or the Food Ranger, it’s nice to see you showcasing the classier side to this country. Hay que ir al mercado central ciudad Guatemala, mercado cantonal zona 3, viandas chapinas mercado San José quinta samayoa zona 7 (solo sabados), mercado sn Lucas, mercado de la antigua Guatemala. Salu2 dsd mixco Guatemala.
