Hi Mark! My husband and I are long time viewers. He is Mexican and I am Guatemala. . My family and I moved to the states when I was very little so I have been learning a lot about my own gastronomy through your videos .I absolutely love them and I am looking forward to all your upcoming videos in Guatemala .
I’m glad you love Guatemalan food. My nationality is from Guatemala. I wish I can go back to see my family, just seeing theses videos bring a whole lot of memories, have been there since two years.
Hands down . The BEST caldo de pollo is from Guatemala. My best friends wife is from Guatemala and she makes it exactly like the way presented in your video. Thank you for sharing.
Que. Bonito video y que gusto ver a Mark disfrutando cada bocado , muy amable, respetuoso, amigable, su esposa y sus hijos. Very nice,, Mark for Guatemala 🇬🇹 president
Mark, I’m Guatemalan and such a long time viewer! It’s still an absolute pleasure to watch your videos, and I always show my family too 🤍 I was excited to show them this series. They’ve been enjoying it so much! Whenever you come back to Boston I’d love to meet you and show you around.
Boston, a city in a state that doesn’t recognize the american constitution after fighting so hard for the constitutional rights. Guess the libtardia brain disorder spread real fast in Massachusetts.
Love to India and all the world…we are all humans…all brothers and sisters…with one beautiful soul…beautiful heart…same red blood…with feelings…and loving to be happy…to be treated with tenderness and compassion…
I love Mark wein colourful way of describing food and what he taste. Love the excitement and passion he puts in video. Really appreciate the food he eats
yes ofc. perosns who make that much money for show a region where childs and adults starv and live poor you cant imagine... dude rethink how much just this chanel could help people i mean really help not just give money .... #riphumanity
It’s so nice to see different cultures and Mark capture them perfectly. Thank you for this video and showing how beautiful Guatemala is, and people look so friendly there.❤️🫶🏻
yes please show more content to see persons eat or play games and make a big load money from it ?! its a joke right ? imagine how many family or people just this chanel could save ? but no they all do nothing that help they just earn money nothing more
That amazing market was like sensory overload, and the fried chicken looked so good. Mark, I have a suggestion for something you might include in your videos, for families that are travelling with children to foreign countries, especially where the food might be very spicy. Could you sometimes show us what Micah eats.
Thank you so much Mark, for showing us such lovely places that we couldn't really go. Whenever we fell sick, my whole family heals by watching your videos. Great fan of your work. Kudos! May God bless you with lots of happiness in life.
That cemetery was amazing - a Mayan version of Paris's Pere Lachaise - and what luck to get there when that couple were having that ceremony to honour the departed.
After seeing these Videos on Guatemalan Foods & the Maya Indian Culture, I would rather go there than to Mexico ! I was stationed in the Panama Canal Zone for 4 years with the U.S. Army from December 1973 to February 1977 and lived downtown in Panama City across from the Panama University for 1 year before getting assigned to Gov. Housing on Fort Clayton and Loved the Food of Panama so I know that I would love the food of Guatemalan as well !
I haven’t been back in 15 years and seeing it thru your videos has made me realize how much has changed since last I was there. Absolutely thrilled you made a whole series of Guatemala that I can show my grandmother who misses her land
I derive immense pleasure from every single one of your videos. As a native of Guatemala, it has been quite a while since I last set foot in my enchanting homeland. However, through the captivating lens of your camera, I am able to revel in its splendor alongside you, albeit from afar. Allow me to suggest that you venture to Sololá and behold the breathtaking lake that graces its picturesque landscape.
Hola Mark buenos días lo saludo desde Quetzaltenango Guatemala que gusto y honor tener en nuestro país. Sería un gusto enorme encontrarlo y saludarlo. 🇬🇹💙🫱🏻🫲🏼
The love, kindness, and friendships are felt in your videos. I’ve been following you for years on TH-cam. Each video and each year becomes more personable. I get teary eyed watching most of your videos because it reminds me of my own travels. The Mayan people are so kind and loving. I miss the fresh fruits and vegetables; we just don’t get those same flavors in our produce in USA unless you grow it yourself but even then it’s still not 100% of what is eaten abroad. The chicharrón de puerco y de pollo…😋 I can smell it from here. Hehe so good! Sopa is eaten with every meal, too. My favorite is also sopa de gallina con fideo y verduras. God bless you and your family and those that accompany you in your travels.
There is a wonderful bazaar about food. It was very nice to see the video. Really, through your video, I can know the news about many foods of the country and abroad and I like to see the reviews of the food. It was wonderful. Thank you for sharing.
Wow, I am so happy that you went to deferents department of Guatemala. The food is delicious and we appreciated the demonstration of the culture and specially the food you are doing.
Hi Mark you are so good at take us on your food trips love traveling with you virtually learn so much about people's culture thank you keep up the good work
Mark, try putting all the vegetables into the soup, including the avocado and the rice, We also put the corn on the cob in the soup to give it an unbelievable flavor after it soaks in that medley of other flavors.
a big fan of someone who makes that much money and eat in countries where they starve around him and he doesnt care ? thats a good person ? would you not help a litle bit or try to help the poor and people in help or even want really something change there ? #riphumanity
Look at the size of those Roma Tomatoes !! They are HUGE !!! All those Vegetables in the Produce section of the Market all looked amazing and so Big & Fresh! I wish Grocery Stores in the U.S. all had Produce that looked that great !!
Great video, great food and great culture, my mom visited Guatemala in 2018, we even have family from Guatemala, I hope one day I can also visit that beatiful country
I have been studying Mayan culture for a long time. No matter how many times I have read about and have been to Guatemala and Southern Mexico, there are still so many things I am not familiar with. This video is a gem. You have documented a portion of Maya-Spanish mix culture. This video is so useful for anyone who wants to see the mix of Maya-Spanish. The two mixed and became something else. I'm not sure what to call it. But it is a marvel!!!!! And I could go for a huge plate of that Chicken and Chicharrones with a side of soup.
I´m glad your are enjoying your Guatemalan experience. I really enjoy your videos and wonder when you were going to visit our beautiful country and cousine. You almost have cover most of what Guatemala has to offer but you have missed "los dulces tipicos chapines" (the Guatemalan sweets). Need to try them before you leave. Thanks for showing the world our small but proud and loved country.
Pretty much similar going to one of the churches here in the Philippines specially Baclaran Church in Paranaque. Outdoor stalls and indoor carinderias. Interesting religious rites and the info from Pablo. 👍
I love this video. Food looks amazing. Never in my life seen a more beautiful graveyard. Thanks for sharing Guatemalan culture. Look forward to the next video.
I appreciate the respect that Mark has for cultures all over across the world. If world have more people like him, definitively it would be a better place. Greetings from Mexico!
