I just want to say thank you do much for getting straight to the point, and giving us the information we want very simply and easy understand. I definitely consider myself to be an enthusiast but sometimes I just want simple information without all the rambling about cuda cores and architecture this and that like other channels do.
This answered so many of my questions and not many videos have made me sub for the future tech questions I have. Thank you so much bro. Keep up the good work.
Still really, really like your style, and the fact that you show and review things form the average joe's perspective. Great to see that you are explaining the role of each vga. I don't like on other channels that they say go for 1070 or 1080, anything under them is garbage. For an internet pc or a soft esport rig this card is great.
Libido bro.. same here.. I actually take my rig up to the store, buy the graphics card, install it myself in my card.. stare at it for about 30 minutes, then make HASTE back to my hut!
Just what I needed to hear! I only do some VERY light video/photo editing and emulation, and I think this is the card for me. Thank you for the informative and very straightforward review!
I really don't like long videos, but the type of your videos help me very much and I watch them until the end even if it's a 30 minutes video, they really help me. Thank you!
i play most of my games (AAA) including poorly optimized games like Assassins's creed and Quantum break on 1050 with i5 6400 at 1080p on medium- high, gives me over 50 fps easy. medium setting blows the console out of the water so i'd recommend this card even for high end next gen games, most current games dont use over 1.8GB even if u r playing on high, 3 or 4 GB is a bit of an over kill.
This video helped me so much, thank you! I have a prebuilt and wanted to get a graphics card, but thought I needed a new power supply too. Thank you for addressing it, now I'm off to order the 1050! Edit: Update, I got a little excited and only watched the first 8 minutes or so, I really should have stayed to watch the part about the ports. Now my 1050 is here and it does not work with my monitor :( Oh well, my fault, ordering that adapter you talked about now Edit 2: Got that adapter, installed it, everything is awesome! :D
Slightly yellow teeth is healthy. Overly white teeth are weakened to get that way through bleaching. In Tech Deals' case he had his original teeth swapped.
ordered 1050 2 gb gigabyte, their were many video related to 1050 like comparison ,spece, fps, etc ,but non made my mind clear about should i buy it or not ,you have done lot of research i can tell because it took me month or so to just decide 1050 but you just summarised it ,love your work , I think more its like a compliment ,u look trustful , because the way u address the viewers is not like to promote anything, but you think like you are buying it to use it and making yourself in the shoes of the customer that's what makes big companies unbeatable, and the point is the trust, people u so , adding things like temperature ,and comparing single fan vs dual fan to show that single fan is enough makes lot of ease of mind ,i am not saying that temperature affect all but people who live in place like india were temperature go so high single room fan in small room is not even enough at full speed same goes for the gpu ,like if you show that 1050 goes 60 degree on load so i can easily assume that in india it will go near 70 degree,it was long but i have to tell you that you are popular a lot in delhi were i live ,even though u look like a manufacturer seller but after watching your videos it all sorts out ,thank u
Just brought my niece an evga 1050ti to go in the build I'm making for her. She plays a lot of minecraft so that card will do wonders for that but it also gives her flexibility to play other games st decent setting if she decided to do so.
Awesome dude! Thanks for this vid! Been thinking about getting this card for my HP i3 4gb ram pc with stock integrated graphics. The system ram can be upgraded to 8gb. And i think this card will be perfect to give my pc the long over due kick it's been needing for years. Thanks again TD!
I got the 1060 based off your review. Can run literally every game in ultra, 1080p over 60fps. Didn't waste money buying the 1080, the 1060 does everything amazingly.
My 4 year old 660 superclock just died (may have been a power surge issue). So I wanted something around $100 bucks. Just ordered the 1050sc gaming based on your info. Used your amazon link to say thanks :)
Awesome video :) I think I'll buy this for my 1024p gaming experience. I love your videos because they focus on the market that most people can afford. Though I would like to suggest you stress that even these low end cards can run games at lower resolution
Awesome presentation as always. I purchased a EVGA FTW 1080 last week and a day after installing it I find out about the thermal issues with the cards with the ACX 3.0 coolers. I would love to see a video on your thoughts about the problems and solutions for these EVGA cards.
Thanks so much for your comment. I watched that video and also JaysTwoCents video. I now have the updated bios installed and contacted EVGA for my thermal pads.
I haven't had a problem so far, that I know about at least... I have a pair of 1080 FTW cards installed in SLI in my i7-6800k and the temps appear to be fine, but I haven't used a FLIR camera to really look at the cards. I do think that EVGA has stepped up with a new BIOS, free thermal pads, and free exchange of the card if you'd prefer. EVGA clearly made a mistake here, how big I don't know, but they are trying to make it right and it doesn't appear they went into "denial mode", so I give them props for that. Everyone makes mistakes, the question is "do they make it right or run and hide?" It appears to me that EVGA is trying to make it right.
Thanks for your comment. I agree with you I think EVGA is a stand up company with great customer service. I have to be honest though, had I known about the issues I would have waited or possibly bought another brand. Keep doing what you're doing Tech Deals your channel is going to grow and grow.
Great video, So glad You talked about 4K TV's, My year old one only has 1 60Hz HDMI and 4 30Hz inputs.using 2 960's and 1 750Ti for 4K to TV, the 60Hz HDMI connected to xbox one s. No need to upgrade My TV is not HDR just a 4K set Movies and video look great.
I really enjoy all the vides, always great info and very clear, spefically this one great for me when referencing older models at future dates. As always, thanks for the great info!
I use the xbox one x for triple A gaming and the surfacebook 2 with the GTX 1050 for games like Overwatch and Factorio. Its a perfect mix. All blizzard games run great on this card.
Hey sir this is off topic but because of your videos i bought me a 1060 6gb super clocked and it runs amazing....it gets a little hot though but plays BF 1 perfectly.
Good information except for the voiding of warranty. You can always put the original power supply back in and in the US companies can't void warranty for upgrades or fixes done by non authorized personnel.
Hmm I'm wondering if this card will go along well with a AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.2 Ghz. The CPU is from 2008 but still going. I'm currently experimenting with a GTX 780Ti but the bottlenecking is killing me.
In reagrds to previous videos of the acer aspire e5 575g 53vg, do you recommend me to wait for the new e5 575g 549d version which has the new kaby lake processor as well as a more powerful 950m to go with it and the same or probably better battery life. Also, how long will it take to come to the US or Aussie Market. Thank you.
Wish I found this video last week when researching video cards for my aging hp H8-1080t 6 core PC. Replaced an AMD Radeon 7750hd with the EVGA Geforce 1050. My Amd was getting old and the fan was driving me crazy. Am only using it for Photoshop to edit client photos. Adobe suggest cards based on Pascal architecture for future versions. Am gathering running the card in overclock mode won't make any difference in PS.
Thankfully this card is for me since I'm not interested in playing those AAA games that need super horse power to run. as long as this card can run my older games and the few newer games I want then it's good enough for me.
the most sebsible card to pair with my g3900 later on..just want to focus on getting ultra for yesteryear games..havent finish my skyrim and fallout yet
hey, thanks for the video. i have a stock hp computer with a power supply of 250 watts, do i need to upgrade the power supply in order to get the best performance from the card? you said in the video that most stock computers don't need a power supply upgrade. Thanks
Yo bro i was wondering if you play fortnite on this GPU aswell so i have this gpu and im gonna upgrade soon to: gtx 1050 2gb ryzen 5 2600 16gb ram 3000MHz i play on stretched res and low settings how much fps would i get in your opinion?
This channel is a gold mine, I'm so glad I found you Tech Deals! I can't wait for you to weigh in on Black Friday deals :)
Dave-ish I found about this channel yesterday..Lucky i found it
Least thrilling channel I've ever seen :D
One of the best and most informative channels I've ever seen!
Keep up the good work!
Nohnaimer Yea, I like his channel. He kinda reminds me of a cross between Mr. Rogers and Steve from Blue's Clues.
No sizzle, just the steak.
Clarissa 1986 it's Peashy from Hyperdimension Neptunia :)
Clarissa 1986 just watch out, Nepu-Nepu is contagious :D
This is the best channel for tech reviews I've seen. It's both direct and informative in all the ways you want. Great job!
Been building and trouble shooting PCs for years and I truly enjoy your videos, thank you for another in depth and informative video.
Been following all your reviews lately - great work, definitely getting a 1050ti for a buddy who's building his first PC :P
I love your way of presenting. I also really like the longing takes. It's like a 20 minute one take video.
Still really, really like your style, and the fact that you show and review things form the average joe's perspective. Great to see that you are explaining the role of each vga. I don't like on other channels that they say go for 1070 or 1080, anything under them is garbage. For an internet pc or a soft esport rig this card is great.
I love your videos, no one talks as much and as good as you when reviewing something
"every time i open a graphics card it's like Christmas" LOL
Libido bro.. same here.. I actually take my rig up to the store, buy the graphics card, install it myself in my card.. stare at it for about 30 minutes, then make HASTE back to my hut!
Just what I needed to hear! I only do some VERY light video/photo editing and emulation, and I think this is the card for me. Thank you for the informative and very straightforward review!
such a good channel, you dont care about impressing your audience or anything, you just give straight, informative facts
awesome, no bullshit overview. very refreshing, thank you.
I really don't like long videos, but the type of your videos help me very much and I watch them until the end even if it's a 30 minutes video, they really help me. Thank you!
I love how this guy explains everything. Very easy to understand. Everytime i think of something for my pc. I go to this channel first.

Slewdskate so would u recommend me this card? cos I'm looking fwd to buy a good graphic card
Can I play games on ultra? With minimum 30fps
Now my 1050 is here and it does not work with my monitor :( Oh well, my fault, ordering that adapter you talked about now
Edit 2: Got that adapter, installed it, everything is awesome! :D
I wish this guy was my teacher. he's so satisfying to listen to for some reason.
high quality video
His teeth is clean as anything..
Mine are gold yellow 😂😂😂😂🏅🏅🏅😬
that's not something to announce
You could eat your dinner off his teeth.
Slightly yellow teeth is healthy. Overly white teeth are weakened to get that way through bleaching.
In Tech Deals' case he had his original teeth swapped.
Mikey From QLD hmm🤔
$100? It's double now thanks to miners.
Yeah prices have gotten a little better but yeah its still about 140/150 and the TI is about the same price

2021: amateurs

Ryo Hyamaru very intelligent decision
Won't make a difference in Minecraft since the CPU does all the work but it's amazing for pretty much any game ever.
FINALLY!! I clear concise answer on these cards. Thank you Tech Deals!
GTX 1050 2GB runs battlefield 1 at 45-50 fps at ultra with a good PC processor of 4 core 3ghz or better and 8gb ram or more
LowSettyns it is the superclocked version??
SENSEI-Panda ! nope normal one
LowSettyns wait what's your exact cpu (I'm new go this)
I also run battlefield 4 with core2duo 2.93ghz+ 2gb ddr3+ssd+zotac 1050gtx (Very high settings) alittle bit lag happen when more particles comes out
So thorough! I love it! Love this channel!
I observed that you really loved EVGA.. Too bad its hard to find that brand here in the Philippines... :)
Pretty much all board partners are good these days.
EVGA has great customer support based in the US, most partners have decent products, but customer service varies
***** what stores and where?
man i really learned a lot in just 20mins. very straight forward comments and recommendations! please keep posting videos! awesome!
WT! Subscribed! That is the D! most detailed informative review i have ever seen so far.

This video is so good.
Thank you for the information.
Also buy the card if you only need it for older games in your steam library like me.
I got the 1060 based off your review. Can run literally every game in ultra, 1080p over 60fps. Didn't waste money buying the 1080, the 1060 does everything amazingly.

Hey sir this is off topic but because of your videos i bought me a 1060 6gb super clocked and it runs amazing....it gets a little hot though but plays BF 1 perfectly.
Wish some of these people would run some of the benchmarks using space engineers. That'd be a fun sight.
Good information except for the voiding of warranty. You can always put the original power supply back in and in the US companies can't void warranty for upgrades or fixes done by non authorized personnel.
Under rated channel.
Even in 2023, this is relevant and helpful. Thanks.
very informative video.thanks mate.
keep it coming boss. helped me a lot. very informative.
I was deciding what graphics card I should get for my first build thanks.
Now this is a solid good review
Great video as always, but just for my curiosity, how do you get so many cards?? Are you a shop keeper or something, i mean a computer store???
Would you say that 8 GB of system ram is enough? Or is 16 GB necessary, Thanks :)
tysm for this video!!! gonna buy myself one for Christmas ^.^
Hmm I'm wondering if this card will go along well with a AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.2 Ghz. The CPU is from 2008 but still going. I'm currently experimenting with a GTX 780Ti but the bottlenecking is killing me.
