@@xtremeworld2005its like saying iphone is best but only problem is network connectivity ! 2 wheelers are supposed to last 15 years so you don't think you require a proper after sales service from the manufa turer ?
Time will tell. OLA is still a young company (not even 5 year old), yet they already have their own battery tech and big ambitions. Their focus seems more on the future than the present, and they lack experience compared to Ather, which affects their services. But as a new player, they can improve, this sector needs time and investment to grow. Let's give them more time
India is a price-sensitive market, and Ola is capitalizing on this by opening over 1,000 service centers across the country. Starting January 26, 2025, Ola will produce its own cells, which will account for 70-75% of the cost of an electric vehicle (EV). This move will give Ola a competitive edge by significantly reducing costs compared to its competitors.
Why has the government taxed 18% GST on charging stations? That is how EV adoption increase. Govt ki kathni aur karni me jameen aasman ka antar hota hai.

I venture out solo in the wild all the time(I live in the Terai region) and without a reliable vehicle it would actually be pretty dangerous. I just need a long range electric mototcycle and I wish Ather made them.
Let’s go by your logic within just 3.5 years in market Ola they started producing their own battery with 23% work force in r&d. Then what about 10 or 15 years in the market where will Ola be
Ather is being lazy. OLA software and hardware ( Leave the quality issues aside ) is much much better and hardware is catching up as well. ! Ather is being left down in the dust by ola with it's own battery plant. So who is into R&D is it ather with its no battery plant or OLA with it's huge R&D in battery cell which is the main part of a EV anyway?
You realize you contradicted yourself in your first sentence right? How can Ola be much much better & have so many complaints/issues? 🤷🏾♂️ BTW the batteries which Bhavish showed off on stage few months back are not unique/patented to Ola, he's a master of hyping things, that's about it. I still have an optimistic view for Ola... And not at all think the Internet stuff heavily... I mean yes there are some problems with Ola and not with everyone but very few people... But it gets exaggerated on the internet too much... I as an Ola Owner myself thinks that now I won't be able to revert back to Petrol scooters now... And people on the ground understands it that's why there scooters sale are so big... Also because Ola is catering to every price range with impressive scooters so... Ola will continue to rule the ev 2 wheeler market at this rate... And Ather don't face such issues because their market penetration and product sales are still a fraction of Ola... So less sales.. less problems discovered and less Ho Halla on Internet.. simple logic...❤❤
