VIOMI & Xiaomi collaborated to release a new Mijia branded 2 in 1 Robovac that can vacuum and mop separately or at the same time. The Mop P , model name STYJ02YM, recently launched (August) in China, and is currently only available in the Mi Home APP connected to the China server.
In this Exclusive review I'll unbox, install and operate the Vacuum.

Thanks to this technology🌼 the vacuum cleaner drives very precisely and does not collide with objects. Two questions
Does the milk smell after cleaning ?
Do you feel small/minute particles of biscuit/cornflakes etc in your feet when walking on the place after it's cleaned ?
It vacuumed the biscuits and all that..the milk did not enter the dustbin as it wasn't a really big amount of liquid and the mop went over it..
I always use a bit of cleaning solution which I spill over the mop..so the house will smell good:)

Like the example in the video, where only a small area has milk and chips and whatnot (dirty area), can i set it such that it only clears up the dirty area first instead of mopping and vacuuming the clean area together with the dirty area? i feel like the dirty mop has kind of smeared onto the clean area with milk molecules atc
You can do an spot or area cleaning...and do a small part first..:)

No!! But you can change it to vacuum when it reaches the carpet

On a average,it does one minute on one square meter.. but it could be a bit longer if there are obstacles like chairs and legs..

Good evening, I realized that today the robot with the vacuum cleaner and floor cleaner mode has emitted very little water compared to the first time I used it. the app Mi home push the message "Please remove the mop and the 2-in-1 dust" after my device (Mi Robot vacuum-Mop P) cleans complete, although I use the included box parts, not from 3rd parties.

Hello, do you hear the pump? At the beginning when it starts spinning a round? If yes...it could be the waterpipes are blocked with chalk?

is there any smell of mould if you check by smelling the filter , the basin, tank or mopping floor pad?
Mopping pad can be washed same as the bin..filter too..but I replace them occasionally.. :)
I keep getting a please load load water tank error, so it does not mop, it only just vacuums and mop, it wont give me the mop only function. very frustrating, and the 2-1 water tank is loaded correctly

The hardware is the same..User interface is little bit different..Regions are different..VIOMI V2 comes with EU plug...Mijia comes with Chinese plug.

Very interested in this product. I have a baby so post pregnancy have a lot of hair fall. Tired of all the brooms and even my vacuum brush has hair stuck on it. Bugs me to keep cleaning it all the time. Would like to know if this would do the same?

How to save 2nd map ?
Nice video but can you help me with my dilemma. I'm looking for some nice high-end robot like this one. Does he bump into furniture? I don't want him to scratch and damage all my furniture around and with all those lasers and sensors he should be fine, but I can't find specific info about it. Some other robots are advertised as COLLISION-FREE SYSTEM. So they won't bump into things.
It bumps lightly against furniture but the section that bumps is spring-loaded, smooth and made of plastic. It cannot damage furniture in my opinion.

Thai Robot ist promotet with no mop zones, but i can't find that in the app.
Do you know how to make no mop zones? What I found was only restricted areas, but then the robot does not clean this area at all (not even vacuuming only)

Hello, the restricted area the only option..but it will restrict all kind of cleaning. What you can do is start the robot away from the dock..this will create a new map...Use that map to restrict the areas and in settings select this map when you want to mop.

Hello! :) The one with a separate part is actual a wet n dry mop... The first part gets wet while the second part dries the wet floor..

Sadly it you have to do that manually or else it will clean the entire map instead

Im confused about when it vacums and mops at the same time, which tank does what it vacums up go into? Also is this the only Xiomi model that can vacum and mop at the same time?
With mopping it makes the floor wet... The waterbin and dustbin are divided but combined
All Viomi robots have their signature style..Y shape mopping, going back and forth.. these with the one you have watched are true hybrids..also the roborock max models can mop good..But in my opinion, if you want a robot that is great at mopping I would go for this or for example the V3 or SE by Viomi.

The V3 is better in my opinion. Newer hardware, stronger suction. But I've heard the European Mijia Mop Pro doesn't have a few features the CN version got. But still, the Mijia mop pro is a great machine, no doubt.
Hey do you get an error if you try to only mop? I get an error saying I should make sure the tank is installed yet it recognizes that the combo tank is installed. And it works fine while vacuuming and mopping. The only mopping function doesn't work for me for some reason .
I heard that you have to buy additional only mopping compartment to do just mopping :)
@@paulinapaka-cabrera494 Yes but it turns out if you remove the filter of the combo compartment it works as a only mop tank. But it holds way to little water for a whole apartment so I bought the additional tank.

@@TechnoShare Hey, I am also planning to take Mi Vaccum. My suggestion is that you can take Mi Robot Mop instead of Roborock as you may get service advantage in country. Roborock does not have a authorised. Also service centre nor I think Mi will take up for repairs. Roborock products which are meant to used in China mainland. Also, roborock on amazon is expensive

That's a good question, I think hardware is the same, I've read in the campaign the software will be created/adjusted. So it could be a different firmware version more based on your Country.
Can you set it to vacuum the floor first, then mopping it? It would be more eficient.

Show demo with white flooring so all the marks and dirt it must be leaving behind will be visible. Due to black flooring no one can makeout that if without sweeping properly if mopping is done how dirty floor becomes

Black tiles show the effectiveness much better than light tiles.
Can we add lizol mixed water in tank for mopping ?

I was just curious because of the current times when we have to be on our toes in terms of hygiene and cleanliness so I thought whether any antiseptic mixed water (dettol, lizol etc) could be used in the tank or not. But as you answered that it can be applied on mop directly, so it's a relief. Just wondering that the amount applied would be very miniscule on mop, so would it be enough for a room ? And if we fill it in the water tank than would it harm the gadget in some way?

Hi, don't put it in the tank ..but pour on the mopcloth..any floor cleaning solution you would like..but again..not in the tank:)
I noticed yours doesn’t go in a straight line either. Mine does it too, but do you know why? I thought it was broken and I was about to return it.
This is their patented scrub mode the so called Y-shape mode:) that's what makes this robot the a better mopping device than its competitors:)

@@XiaomiGadgetsGuide yeah tried that as well, did a map reset, but it's just acting weird. For example when it's off and you gently push it against charging base it just gets crazy and pushes against the charging base.
Would you know the hard reset sequence on this model?

I know the battery is in between the main brush and omnidirectional wheel..you need to unscrew the 4 little screws to open that..but I don't know if it will do a full reset by removing it for a while..

@@XiaomiGadgetsGuide so I went for an errant came back and just tried to start it. Now it starts doesn't give error of wheels suspended but a new one.. Collision sensor stuck.. Jeez driving me crazy this one. Is taken off the front bumper but nothing there all seems smooth..

I have no problems, but I'm aware some people have it.
My device cannot return to the dock after cleaning a room We've tried everything, including replacing the fist one we bought after a day. The replacement unit does exactly the same thing.
What happened exactly?
@@geethanramu1975 We have now had 2 replacements so we're with the third one. A friend suggested we delete the app and reinstall it. The app has been in use since we bought the Xiaomi Vacuum robot over a year ago. Since we reinstalled the app our problems are gone.
I have a follow up. Prior to us reinstalling the app we informed the online company that we bought the appliance from about our struggles and they scheduled another replacement. We could not cancel it, so, had to receive our 4th unit. Despite all our efforts that one also cannot find the dock. We decided to take a refund.
How long will it last?
I have not big house, but I guess I could clean it up to 5 times easily..if not..even more.. but the robot will go back to dock when it is low on power and continue its course when it got some more juice:)

unfortunately this version does only 'speak' Chinese. If you want an almost identical device (software slightly different) that can speak English...Go check out the Viomi V2:)

@@XiaomiGadgetsGuide You can change the device language to English but need a special version of Mi Home app installed, where you can create a manual automation task for the vacuum that allows you to toggle to English language. www.kapiba.ru/2017/11/mi-home.html - see apk link at bottom of page, install (when prompted for username/password - enter the 6-digit number into the password field, leave username blank) and you can go from there. This apk build removes region restrictions as well, so can select any server besides China Mainland for your devices.

Can it mop the entire house of about 2000sq.ft. like maid?
Unfortunately, I can't afford a maid, so I can't compare:) a maid would cost me 1043 Indian Rupees per hour.
But so many square feet is maybe too much for one robot. It can do around 150m2 when mopping according to the statistics each run.
I don’t think it’s a good idea to make it mop over spilled liquids. This is not a wet and dry vacuum. It will suck the liquids into the filter and motor. Thanks for the video 👍🏻
the filter does not allow liquid to pass. I have this robot. even at the highest water level I have never found loquid beyond the filter. of course you can't suck ... 1 liter of milk !!
Thank you for your reply..You are correct...It is not made for sucking up liquid. Yet the little amount of this milk didn't reached the filter... Think about spilling a little bit when walking with a glass of milk from kitchen to the living room
My intentions are to show what the vacuum is capable off..Almost crossing its limit.
For example..the anise sprinkles.. probably one of the hardest things to suck up since it is 'round and very lightweight'.
I can make a video how a normal dirty floor in common households would look like..but where's the fun in that?haha

@@just4therecord My bad, I had to include footage or pictures of the bin...I emptied the bin and there was nothing wet... really believe the V2 and the Mijia are currently the best vacs that can mop..
But these robovacs just like all others need maintainence and cleaning once in a while.

Really not cool from Xiaomi to only allow the function MOP ONLY, only if you buy an extra water only tank. If I already have 2 in 1 tank (mop + vacuum) why this tank cannot allow mop only function? Makes no sense.
