- Hey guys I been obsessed with this scrapped game idea for awhile. I've heard other people talk about his story before but I always wanted a screen shot of what this game would have been. I hope I did a good job recreating the basic idea hope you guys like the video. I feel like I repeat myself a lot in this video my bad I just wanted to make sure I cover this story the best I can.

1 thing I want is to be able to play more of Nintendo's Beta Games. They're so interesting! I want to, in particular, play the SNES Star Fox betas, Star Glider, Star Fox 2 1994, and Star Fox 2 CES 1995. It's so interesting to see (and play) where these games came from. In addition to having copies of these, I also want Super Weekend to have more reproduction copies produced.
Yea i feel like they keep these beta games under lock and key so they can reuse ideas and concepts for other games

Really great video however this isn't a beta build but just a very primitive prototype of Pikmin. Beta isn't synonymous with prototype. Beta is a stage of a prototype that is much closer to final release where most features are done except bug fixes so beta is like a very buggy version of the final release.
It's difficult to know if a pre-released prototype is a beta or alpha without the build or devs themself says so. However this looks like it hasn't passed the pre-alpha stage yet as the only things that are unchanged is the environment and one enemy while everything else is fundamentally different.
Yea you're right pikmin had beta footage already idk what this game is considered. Also not sure if it was supposed to be for gamecube ive heard this game was first being developed for the n64 DD. So it could have been like an alpha or just a concept
