    I completed a 1900 mile trip a couple of weeks ago. We don’t have 2.1 yet. We had a few charging stops where there car was only taking in 30-35 KWh charging speed even when the SOC was at approximately 20%. We’d have to wait until the SOC was approximately 35% before the charging speed would ramp up significantly. Funny thing on this trip was that it did always behave this way. Some charges would go right up to 176 kWh and then slowly go down as the SOC was increasing. And this only happened when we were charging at the Electrify America charging stations. Speaking with other EV owners (Ioniq,, Rivian) as we waited during charging they said there vehicles sometimes behaved the same way so not sure if it is a FO issue or charging station company issue.

      Hi pretty good inside thanks for hihglighting. Yes sure will not say as in the video it´s just the car issue could be anyhow pretty strange with the process of deep sleep the car and get the functionality back and having now the car 11 months + never faced that issue also not with another EV. Sometimes you just not getting full charging speed in total e.g when you share a charger but here anyhow seems with the secound patch it works as bevor while charging.

    Thanks Patrick. I really don’t want to get 2.1. My FOU is running okay now. I appreciate how you explained everything. And I liked the history lesson. Your note on the end was perfect. We must never forget.

      Hi thank you so much and so good to hear your fisker is doing so well even without the 2.1. After roughly 600miles I would rate the 2.1 as 2.0 without the charge port open alert and may a bit more solar energy and some difference within the differen modies earth fun and hyper so not really a big jump or extras set free. Thanks for recognizing the end and what you said about agree so much with that specially when you look at actual events seems that people not learning leassons from the past...

    Nice video, Patrick, I just had meeting in Amsterdam this week, and I averaged a range of 550 km, with typically cruise control on 115 km (in Earth, regen on low), but of course no german autobahn ;-) . By the way this was with your former employer, Lapp. I arrived with my FOO and they immediately asked if I knew you. Johannes, Johan and Sjoerd are sending their best regards! just a fun fact

    • @gentlemensworld
      @gentlemensworld  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ah how cool is that if you still around there please send my regards back. Johanna, Johannes and Sjoerd such great people I bat you had a great time with them. The world is pretty smal I need to say so cool to hear that. Also pretty good seeing that you been able to drive this distance also with 2.1 already bevor it was able specially when you just drive really the 115km I think the energy consumption is going up expentional when you drive above 110km/h anyhow not really suitable here. I also remeber when I got the car last year in July I went in August to Munich it been 220km on way and was driving more or less full speed 180km/h and more if possible and got around 380km in total needed to stop by on the way back and that been pretty ok so I would say with all updates the range went down some how, at this stage I would just speculate that there was a change with the battery management system I guess again speculating that this have something to do with the 12 v battery that this needs much more energy for all the devices to run therefor I would say the range is suffering. Thanks for the regards again and hope to chat again soon. ;-)

    I had exactly the same problem since the 2.1 update: sometime, its impossible to go better than 33/35KWH and then after 20 minutes, it went to the usual speed around 170KWH, but the second time, it didn't went up and the charging speed was stocked on 35KWH....and last time, it worked perfectly. Had the same 2 steps update. Sometime the screen said "the plug is heating ( i was driving, not charging) I send to fisker a picture of that and i'm waiting for an answer.

    2.1 here and 1400 miles in one week - no problem, 350 - 400 km range. Ok, one times the car starts charing at 35 kw with a loud fan noise (because of 32 degrees ?) , but the it went up to 110 kw again. it was a very fine trip again to austria and back.
    Today charging fine with direct 110 kw at a 125 Allego.

      Perfect and thanks if I keep asking twice about. Seems really that builds till mid of August facing the biggest issues then its getting better as your build e.g. I think you can be pretty lucky that you got an extrem instead if an one.

    Patrick, nice Video but horable to hear about your issues. I am now in Sweden. And charging in the Trip was between 103 - 129 kWh/h and consumption 20,5-21,05 kWh/100km. With mine FOE😂 i am satisfied. But not without issues.

    • @gentlemensworld
      @gentlemensworld  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, ah so glad to hear your trip is doing brilliant and you not having any issues. As per the video I didn´t asking about the issues people having with the cars the first builds are the onces with the most builds so far at least good to see you having a good trip with a pretty good consumption with the car thats brilliant. Comes safe back home.

    Hi
    I don’t have 2.1 yet and under warm temperatures 33 degrees C and around 350 Km drive, the charging note charging above 35 kW, when the car is too hot it seems to protect his system

    • @gentlemensworld
      @gentlemensworld  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, interessting to know so this happen already to you? Need to aks my friends from Cali and Florida if they had the issue or the safty procedur already. Also never charged under this heat anyhow if so would make the car also unuseable for any longer trip in Sommer and Winter. Normally all EV in the meanwhile specially in this price range, having heated batteries for winter and cooling system for summer. Thanks again for the information keep on recording all of them ;)

    So from petrol head to EV head .

    • @gentlemensworld
      @gentlemensworld  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No I love booth I would say, I like my Harley for example and still even with all issues with the Fisker I like to idea of EV´s also I´m not black and white here. E.g. a V8 4,8 Liter engine haves a beautiful sound and comes with also some advantage on the other hand side 650HP with electric and silence also haves it pros ^^ With an Motorbike I was looking to drive also some suitable elctrical but never seen something what is practical but let´s see and wait. I know a long answer ;-)
