I wonder if the drivers assist periodically fails is because of the same thing I see with my BMW i3s. If I am in direct sunlight, often directly facing a sunset, the camera, much like a human eye, will get blinded and my i3s driver assist will disengage and give me the warning where I can engage standard cruise control.
I don't think so for the Ocean, it seemed to work fine even with it directly facing the sun, it kind of just happened out of the blue and when I let it go to sleep to reset it would usually comeback fine.

It was an OTA update for me. I got the same email as you, after a week when I got the email we got a notification on the Fisker that said the update was ready to install it. Be sure you are at home if you get this notification because they have you exit the vehicle and lock it when it's being installed. It took about 30 mins, then everything was updated. It does still install different parts after this initial install when you are away from the car, so you'll probably notice some changes. I had "hill hold' kind of in 1.11 as well, where some time on hill it would just hold, but it wasn't consistent for me.
Thanks for the video. I have an Ultra also. I agree, 2.0 is a big help and fixes a lot of issues. Can you pre-condition the battery during road trips?? Software gremlins that frequently need resets. NHSTA investigations on brake failure and roll-away issues. Where will you get service, parts and future updates? Surely you know it's just a matter of time until the fat lady sings (7 or 11). Insurance, sub-par regenerative braking, no access to SCs for at least a year, if ever. Many owners who bought vehicles last year still have paper plates which means they don't legally own the car. Who would put up with that? And all for $65-$70K. Then there's the 40% reduction in value overnight. CarMax in March offered one Florida owner $21K for his 2023 Extreme and he took it because the A/C didn't work and he couldn't get it fixed. Another Mass. owner hit black ice in December, bent the wheel assembly. It has been sitting in his driveway for three months, no parts. But I know, the Ocean looks pretty....sorry to say, you got played Holmes.
You're spreading garbage that short sellers have been spreading , he just said most of those issues are resolved with 2.0 ..now mind your own f@#$ing business
For someone who likes the Ocean and overall thinks it WAS NOT a mistake, you've chosen a horrible video title. Unintended consequence is that some people will hurriedly read the title and not realize it's a question. They'll equate "Fisker Ocean" and "Mistake". Why did you choose that title?
If you don't think it was a mistake, then please change the title. Maybe like this: "Buying the Fisker Ocean was a good choice." or "Why is the Fisker Ocean a good choice to buy?"
This is a normal clickbait title to grab people to watch. Also clearly has it posed as a question. Great video overall and glad to hear the Fisker Ocean doesnt seem like a mistake especially with software 2.0 fixing so many issues.
It's a good looking SUV but certainly not beautiful. Funny how people justify buying this trainwreck by calling it beautiful. It looks like a modern day Saturn SUV.
buy a tesla
Thanks
I bought 20k shares of fisker stock on Nov/2023 at $6.25 per share, but today 5/29 only $0.058 😢😢😢
If I bought a EV instead on that day, car price maybe below $60K , and can still own that car, and save a lot of money 😢😢😢
My ultra charges the phone on the driver side. Yours should too?
I will look into this. Thank you for letting me know
Can I ask do you find any issue with the Earth mode being front wheel drive rather than rear wheel drive?
