Love the tach you put in mustang, very cool and old school. I’m glad it still works good. Can’t wait to see your ideas with the 671 blower come to reality. Very cool and some great ideas. See you all on the next one and have a great week. 👍😎✌️
In 1977 my Late Dad went to our local speed shop which was Garden Grove Racing Equipment and bought me a Mallory tach for Christmas. The tach has been in the 67 F-100 Camper Special that I bought from Dad. It was in my 1969 F-100 and also in my 1974 California Look VW Bug. And now it's in my 1967 Ford F-100 SWB.
My Uncle bought a 1969 Mach-1New* green gold striping with the black hood and scoop, He would tuck a twenty in the dash and say if you can get you can have it. Four speed big block would win every time. I remember looking over at him laughing. I was a little kids car enthusiast for then on. Always cool see ya'll shining a new light on that ole Stang. I do like the Blown HEMI Idea, It could be as authentic looking as swap meets will allow.
I barely remember , " being only 5 at the time " in Ft worth Texas, Dad worked for A&B Muffler and Custom Shop at the time , this engineer from General Dynamics had a brand new 66 Chevy truck with a Corvette 360 hp 327 with a 471 blower that he had adapted an a/c clutch to the pulley that operated on a toggle switch, he drove it daily , dad built custom headers and 2 1/2" exhaust for the truck , I never rode in it but dad said it was crazy fast when the toggle switch was turned on . I really wish Dad would have taken some pictures and documented some of the particulars , but I did actually see it with my own 2 eyes , but I was only 5 , I just remember how cool it was
Buddy might have been referring to GT500 only, but latest GT350's came with six speed manuals too. Either way that is a bad to the bone ride and I'll bet she's a handful!
I had the absolute pleasure of driving an Eleanor Super Snake , " I highly recommend do so if you ever get the chance " guy owned a drive thru liquor store in Big Sandy , Texas , car was sitting out front, I stopped and was admiring the beautiful beast and the owner came out , started a conversation, the next thing I know we were cruising hwy 80 having a ball and he asked , you want to drive it , well everybody knows the answer to that one , we swap places and the guy says drive it like you stole it , that's what I do ! I obviously didnt give it too much hell , but that thing was phenomenal to drive ! I was driving a 02 Gt Mustang when I stopped to give it a look , that Gt was like a 4cyl compared to the Super Snake , lol .
That fake blower is probably the worst idea I've ever seen. It's so bad, I'm willing to drive up there and take it off your hands. I'll hide it under the hood of my 57 pontiac so nobody will ever see it. I won't even charge you for it. Deal?
Hey Wesley that's nothing I have a 79 bronco that I have had for 30 plus years and has not been on the road for at least 20 plus but hopefully soon it will be going in the shop

Love the old school tachs. Just what the '69 needed. Love the Shelby and that supercharger whine. Nice work on the repair. Be safe and stay well
It’s always fun working on new model cars… LOL 👍👍

lol as a valued Chevy guy can I subscribe 10,000 times 😂. I’m ready to see that sweet Camaro work its magic 🪄
I had a set of mufflers just like that blower 😂.
They don't leave room for nothing extra.😊
It would be neat to see that blower on a junk motor on something like a go kart frame just for yard art.
That thing never was a blower, i had one in the 70s, look cool,
