20:45 That reminds me of my service dog when I have a panic attack. She thinks it's a party and gets to show off her tricks (alert, takedown, DPT) and does so happily. It does seem a little inappropriate, but it is so important because you don't want your SD to be/become scared of your medical situation whether that is a seizure, a panic attack or something else, as these things can be quite intimidating to the average pet dog. For my service dog I started faking panic attacks and highly rewarding her from the minute she got home at 8 weeks, just to prevent her from getting scared and also because it is a great start for alert training because they start to learn to pay attention to that scent and behaviour.
Fabulous demonstrations of what our canine companions can do to support quality of life. As someone that participates in the sport of Canine Scent Work in the US, it is fascinating to see this. I can only begin to appreciate the work and dedication that goes into the training of these dogs for a purpose other than ours, which is purely for enjoyment and bonding with our dogs. 🐾🐾💗
Excellent!!! Yes dog detection is terrific not only in medical but all K9 that detect for drugs & other things. Well done!

One day I'll be able to afford to pay staff to work on my stand so I can spend all 4 days in the arena, watching all the fab displays! One day...... 🙂
