    I use Blue Hylomar gasket, its removable if needed. but always try a clean and Silicon grease first

    Thanks for the video! After using the liquid gasket, will the mag never leak again on the base?

      Np. It's not guaranteed, but it works for me. Just remember to lett it dry for a couple of days.

      @@RobinBerntsen But it looks like you never will be able to get it back out because it's basically glued? Thanks for the reply!

      It's no problem taking it apart again. But the seal will brake

      @@RobinBerntsen Have seen some people use Gorilla Glue instead of the liquid gasket... probably not the best solution

      Then you can forget to ever take it apart again😅
      Had a friend who did that. Didnt stop the leaking.

      Think people can figure out how to put it back in. Just tak off feeding lip and put it back in.

    Will this fix the problem with it leaking straight out the box? Only holds gas for like maybe 5 shot, and I can't find spare mags anywhere, out of stock.

    • @RobinBerntsen
      @RobinBerntsen  ปีที่แล้ว

      This will only help if your mag is constantly leaking from the bottom. If your mag is holding its gas until you are fiering, it's probably too cold outside. Greengass won't work in temperature below 20-30C°.

    i must be lucky got an asg mk23 and the mag still holds gas in 1 year later, it's th fkin army armament R5/6 mags that keep leaking like hell, but ya silicon grease works, maintain your gbb n gnb mags people, and they last a long time.

    where did you get that gasket? could you share the link??

    • @RobinBerntsen
      @RobinBerntsen  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's just an ordinary gasket on a tube. You can probably get it at a hardware store. I got it from Biltema.

    DId you put the Oring back or just silicon?

    • @RobinBerntsen
      @RobinBerntsen  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did not, but i know others do. Probably not a bad thing to do.

    Did you forgot to put the spring back?

    • @RobinBerntsen
      @RobinBerntsen  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are thinking about the spring on the side for the pressures release, no. I glued that vent shutt for the mag to accept higher presure. If you aren't using higher presure gass, i dont recommend to to so.

    You know you don't need to drill

    • @RobinBerntsen
      @RobinBerntsen  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you refering to slaming it with the hammer, i know. But personally I take my chances of drilling rather then cracking the asambly. But it may work better then it does in my head😅

      Hehe. People are free to do as they please. I just shared what I did and people have given me better ways to do it. So maybe on a other video I can show different ways people solve a problem.

    What a shitty job. Just change the gasket. Usually a heat gun will solve the problem
