      Man my right leg has been swollen for 2 years now and I have seen 3 sep doctors. I even begged for a X-ray bc google told me it could be a blood clot. X-ray showed all looked ok I guess and im still worried about it. Do you guys recommend I ask for other test? Im a female in my early 30s,.. I just want my leg to go back to normal. 😔

    I was suffering with pain and swelling in one leg. Had ultra sound done and blood work, nothing found to be wrong. It turned out I had some pinched nerve and L4/L5 disc issues. Took muscle relaxer and ice pack, and in the morning things popped back in and leg swelling went away. Glad it wasn't blood clot

      Had a back injury a few years ago and still have some pain but manageable. Recently, my left leg started to swell, and I have planter fascitis. Had an x-ray and ultrasound, and nothing was found. My doctor said it was probably from my back injury. Have been prescribed tramadol, gabapentin and celecoxib. It has really been a toss-up trying to figure out which one works the best.

    I have edema In both feet, went to er, they did a bunch of tests, X-ray’d my chest and ankles, ultrasound on both legs from groin to ankles, took 4-5 vials of blood, checked vitals often. They said no clot, they don’t think it’s heart or lungs, not physical injury, might be vein related but they don’t know what it is that’s causing it. They gave me no meds and the instructions on the paper work said cut salt and water, elevate legs, use compression sock, check with my primary dr, get more tests done. 8 hours, long day.

    Hi everyone I'm writing this comment to share my experience and thinking if someone might be helpful with my comment. Even my ankles, figures started getting swelling and slowly my whole body started getting swelling and I was worried completely and was in a dilemma and consulted doctor and took medicine but then too did not get the solution to my problem then started researching what's the solution for it. The problem was myself I was drinking excess water in day and sitting at one place in office without moving that water started storing in my body and was linking out of my body tissues and that caused swelling. If anybody facing same problem drinking excess water please stop it and try to have as your body requires.

    I have 3 herniated discs, L3-L5. Ever since I got injured in 2007, my left leg swells and it hurts my knee and ankle. My swelling has pitting but ONLY in my left leg. I don’t want any surgeries to my back because I’ve only seen examples that say surgeries make the whole back issue worse. Drinking water, working out…nothing takes the swelling away for good. 😢

    • @furryplantsandcoins9070
      @furryplantsandcoins9070 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Have you seen a chiropractor maybe they can help. I don't blame you for not wanting the surgery. I've had two in that area and I hated it! I'm having issues with my left hip and shooting pain down into my knee. They keep saying it's just arthritis I don't believe it. Today I noticed that my left ankle is a really swelled. And my pain level is crazy high today. My right one's a tad but swell but not like my left. I also had fractured my back a few years ago right around my surgery site believe it was the vertebrae right underneath of it. That was not fun. They wanted to put concrete in that vertebrae because I had a compound fracture. I refuse that. I just didn't think that that should be in my body. I don't know how it's healed since then I'm going to assume it got better but I don't know what kind of damage it had left. Because I've had nothing problems with my hip and my knee. My second surgery they had removed all the hardware they put in the first time and then they added a cage. And when standing I have issues and pain. And that's usually for long periods of time. So I've got to walk or I have issues with pain shooting down my legs. So yeah I would find a really good chiropractor like these guys maybe they would be able to put those herniated disc back in without hurting you. And I would definitely have them take x-rays and your doctor should be doing MRIs on you.

    Hello, I love all your videos. I realise this may not be the correct way to ask. these questions as I have 2 questions that do not relate to this video. I am a disabled 61 year old male. I have numerous health conditions including Crohn's disease, an Ileostomy, severe Osteoporosis, 2 crushed vertebrae in my spine etc etc the list goes on. On top of all of these other health conditions I have suffered Chronic Insomnia since 1996. I am a wreck. I am 61 but most of the time feel 80. First question do you have any tips for treating chronic insomnia that work ( I have tried everything including medication. without success ) ? A huge contributor to my insomnia is the fact. that I also suffer from restless leg syndrome. This is huge, huge problem when it comes to insomnia. It's impossible to sleep with restless legs. And my second question is do you have any tips for treating restless leg syndrome that work ( I have tried everything except medication without success ). I hope you do get the chance to answer my 2 questions as I know you are both extremely busy. Thank you from Ireland.

    • @clovis2240
      @clovis2240 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Restless leg can be from a lack of magnesium. Take a cup or two of Epsom salt (which is 100% magnesium) dip a washcloth in it and apply by running it up and down your arms and legs before you go to sleep. It will dry quickly. Magnesium is taken in by the human body best through the skin.
      If you take baths, throw a few cups of Epsom salt in there too.
      There are multiple types of magnesium to read about. Try taking oral magnesium glycinate 400 mg 2x a day too.
      Good luck! 🙂

    Sooo, my son is 30 years old, & is average weight for 6' 2" male. He had covid 19 in December, & lasted almost 3 full weeks.
    Middle of May, he can't even walk/stand on his right foot at all. Very painful for him. Then, 4-5 days later, he could barely breathe! Said his chest was hurting bad, etc.
    He is taken to ER, & guess what? The doc found a DVT behind his knee.
    Then, an hour later, doc found a P.E. in his lung!!
    Basically scared us all, & & NO ONE, on either side of family ever had any DVT's, OR, P.E.'s, etc.
    A week or two later, his doc said that he has more than 100 young men with exactly the same issue.
    Believe it or not, COVID is what has caused all those DVT/PE. Absolutely crazy.
    His doc told him the ONLY reason he didn't die, was due to his very strong heart. ✅

    My special needs sister's left leg was chronically swelled, and was recently found to have something called May-Thurner Sundrome. They just did surgery a few weeks ago and put a stent in, so we're hopeful that fixes it.

    I sprained my ankle 6 weeks ago. Its been 6 weeks but it is not healed completely. The swelling goes down in morning but again swelling increases gradually during the day. There is no fracture, also there are no red bruises around the ankle. Why is it not healing? What should I do? Please tell me.

    I really need some answers. I just had a baby a week ago, I started to swell in my feet and ankles in my 6th month, it spread to my legs and thighs towards the last 2 months of pregnancy. My doctor seemed somewhat concerned but I have normal blood pressure, and no shortness of breath or any other symptoms other than some pain when pressed upon. My feet have swollen so much that I haven’t worn actual shoes in about 4 months.
    I am one week postpartum and the swelling in my legs all the way up to my pelvic bone but mostly in my lower legs are swollen worse than ever. My lower legs and feet are shiny, the skin continues to flake and my skin feels hot, and there is redness. Any sort of pressure feels like pins and needles. Although my legs look pretty bad, I got an ultrasound and there are no clots or anything wrong other than the retention. We don’t understand why I am retaining so much fluid, especially since I am not working anymore, and I am not on my feet too much throughout the day.
    I have been elevating my legs at night and sometimes during the day, and when I get up it feels like sand bags that are slowly pouring back down into my feet… even though it’s not supposed to be sand.. it is fluid right? Soooo my lower legs are so badly swollen that I have pits that won’t go away, I have red scales and flakes.. they burn constantly and it’s super painful if something bumps into them. I have been taking water pills, inflammation pills, pain pills, lower sodium intake, drinking lots and lots and lots of water daily, elevating feet/legs at night, and just today finally got my compression stockings. I’ve been wearing my stockings for about 8 hours now.. and i don’t see too much of a difference besides the tops of my feet.. it isn’t as puffy anymore.
    Can you’ll help me figure out what this is?

      I used only a herb, raspberry leaf, when I swelled during child bearing term, and formed, it worked very quickly. Not Bigelow tea bags which include other herbs, but, by itself, alone, and not in any bag form.

    I had trauma to my left knee and ankle when my chiropractor pulled on my ankle to loosen it.
    Now both my feet and lower legs are swollen, it hurts to walk, toes won’t move well and it’s painful.
    My fingers are also swollen in the morning and painful.
    Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated!

    What if both feet and toes swell at night but not the ankles? Skin just feels tight but if you elevate at night, in the a.m. they are fine.

    Sorry there is no cure, just a one-day fix then it starts again, so why put up with the daily pain, you can't do anything. Your old what do you have to look forward to at 70 years old, starting a family hahaha, your time is up so why wait and prolong the pain and discomfort, if you have someone ok but when you're alone why wait. I and another soldier at one time in the military saw a black shadow looking at me in my bunk, then it was gone, so don't fret there is another side, just cross over.
