Thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven’t already, and please like and share… it really helps me out…
Thanks for watching…. ❤️
I stopped making granny squares a long long time ago. They were twisted so bad, looked awful. Couldn't get any answers so I gave up. Thanks to you I'm going to try it again using your tip. Thank you.😮
I just did my first square! It looks like I was a bit tipsy 😂. But I learned a lot, and it typically takes me 2 or 3 squares to get things to look right. Thanks so much for teaching this 😀
You turned the one on the right. It looks so much better!!
Exciting idea, I'm going to be trying it ... thank you
You turned the right one. Now I will continue the video.😊 Now that the video is done. I agree with everything you’ve said. The squares can definitely twist to one side if you don’t turn them. I always turn mine when I make them. I like the look much better. And I like that both sides are even! I didn’t always turn them in the beginning until I learned from a video. Thanks for a great video Charlotte. I know this will help many people!🩷
Thank you… ❤️
So glad that you are recording again. This technique makes the granny squares lay flat and that solves my pet peeve with them, especially when they get larger. ❤ Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome! ❤️
Hey hey! Just popping in to say that YOU, yes YOU, turned my dream to crochet a granny square into a reality. Like, I rummaged through tonnes and tonnes of yt tutorial only to hop back on you to make that thing possible. Thank you so much. You got a student😃
Lovely to have you back 🎉💞 i could listen to you all day! I'm still plodding along with my 10 st blanket that you showed me years ago... now I'll have to dig the old grannies out the cupboard and watch flip square tutorial 😂 thank you for continuing to inspire so many people 🥰 and 🤐🤨👅 to those who disagree 😜
Thank you… ❤️
Sorry not sure if my post was cut off. My question is do you have a beginner tutorial that walks slowly how to do a square where you turn your Granny Square. I am have gotten into “a things” granny squares”. So many possibilities. But have more and more importance of turning. Need a beginner step by step. Thanks😊
That's interesting, I've never heard of turning a granny square, i might have to try it out ☺️ Thanks!
Right😊
I currently use this method. Try it and see the difference. It keeps the squares flater.
After I learned this I have never gone back, I think they look so much neater and straight
Great work looks better and I don't crochet as I broke my 4 fingers in an accident years ago on the job and have a hard time to crochet but I can knit
I do see a difference. Yes, the back side is different from the front side one on the left. The square on the right appears thicker.
Turn the right
Thank you. I learned something new.
You’re welcome… thank you for watching… ❤️
Right
You turned the right one. Ok unpausing to hear the rest of the video! Yes, the right one is neater and tighter. The left looks kinda sloppy- not sure this is the work I am looking for. Thank you for this. It all makes sense now with granny squares!
Thanks for watching… ❤️
I think you turned the right one...

Guess I couldn't tell
You turned the right and did not turn the left💜
Turned the right one not the left
I’ve tried flipping my work but there is still a difference in the look. You still need to be careful when choosing your sides to make a blanket. I think you and many others crochet their rounds like a spiral. That’s why you’re getting that look of twisting. You are suppose to finish each round with a slip stitch and then start again the next round. If you do this you won’t have any of these problems. My backs do not look as bad as yours do. You need to work n your tension. You should really know a design before you try and teach it. I do enjoy your channel. Sorry this one was an epic fail. We all have them from time to time. No one’s perfect. Enjoy your day. 💝🥰🤗
