I have to agree, I like your idea of what you did with the Granny Square Yarn. I have thought about doing the same thing since you can't get the granny squares to work out right no matter what you do. I will do the same thing with the Granny Square yarn I also have here. I also have the Bitty Stripes yarn and I love it and I have several projects in the works already.

Ohhhh I washed this blanket and it is sooooooo soft now!!! I will have to do the houndstooth stitch on the channel sometime, I like it!

@@SpiffyHandmade Yes, it has been a favorite of mine for hats yet I use an alternate solid for the top, as it cannot align when in the round. I’m hunting a good cotton summer newsboy cap with normal ball cap brim. Wondering if I could crochet onto and over a piece of plastic or washable something that would hold that sun shade part in place…

Your blanket looks amazing, I love the idea. I will say Red Heart is terrible with the colors cross platform. If you get a white in the super saver and in the super save jumbo the colors are off and the finishes are different, it is very frustrating.
