Thank you for posting this. I just received my new 2024 Hayabusa this past weekend and am now looking at the Zero Gravity windscreen. I love the look of the dark smoke, like what you have. My only concern is am I going to be able to see through it, especially at night (?!). I suppose I could just try it and if it's just not working (for visibility), just put the stock screen back on.
You won't be able to see much through the smoke at night. I'm 6ft tall and generally never looking through the Windscreen. I was only really concerned with moving the air from my chin to the top of my helmet for those long rides.
Actually bought 2 windscreens from ZG. The Short Sport Touring for longer trips and Hybrid M1 DB for around town. Way Suzuki designed it super easy to swap back and forth.
I almost went with the zero gravity windscreen when I swapped out my clear one. But the one that was closest to my stock one was a bit too high for me. But that one looks really good on the Busa!! And it makes more of a difference than you would think. Good video man!!
That is a smart way to show the wind protection. You're smart. Haha love the moderate rage :D It looks great man, I went with a similar colour for the GSXR when I changed it, tasty. Haha I suffer a lot of discomfort purely for aesthetics also so I get it 100% :) Glad it worked out!
I'm dumb, I stole that idea from someone else, I have no smart original ideas just other people's ideas I try to repackage as my own....HaHa Dumb drivers really set me off....thanks GB!
That's the screen I went with a while back. I actually call it a Big, Fat Guy Screen and it's still not quite enough. Looks wise, I don't think I'll go taller. I haven't taken a longish Gen 3 ride yet.
Thanks for the video. Have you done a long ride after installing the ZG windscreen? If you did, was there a significant difference between the two in terms of fatigue after riding for 45-60 minutes?
I do notice a difference, I don't know if the difference after 1 hour is "significant" but it's a big difference when I'm on a road trip and on the bike for the better part of the day and the one I got is the shortest of the touring screens, I think there are two other sizes with more protection.
I've had a zero gravity on my 2012 since the first month I bought it. Being tall (6'3") the wind hits me just right when cruising at 70+ on interstate. At 100+ better be tucked! The string test was spoiled by the airflow disruption of the Go-Pro though.
i think I ended up pushing the rubber grummets into the fairing. I just couldn't get it lined up. Luckily I didn't panic, I used some plastic push fasteners to secure my wind screen. For anyone else that has this problem, plastic fasteners will solve the issue. I ended up getting the puig wind screen from Revzilla.
You missed the lack of proper footwear for motorcycling. On the concentrating part, you got that wrong. It takes immense concentration to hold a string and camera whilst riding with no hands. 😂🤣 Do me a favor go pound sand...😂🤣
M.B, which motorcycle do you think(for a 6'2" - 6'4" tall guy) would be more comfortable for long distance rides; the 2022 hayabusa or the 2022 bmw s1000RR ?
Busa for sure, and like Darrell said you can lower the pegs and you can also get bar risers to. I've ridden both Busa wins the comfort department for sure.
It's hard to say, this time of year I don't get out on the highway's much. It basically moved the impact point from my chin to my eyes/bottom of my forehead area will that translate to a better experience on the highway I don't know yet.
See if these work for you...i have zero experience with them, but one of the few I found out there.. brocksperformance.com/window-link-kit-adjustable-suzuki-hayabusa-99-22/
So I just changed mine out today. It’s dark dark smoke stock height and makes the bike look so much better. But oddly enough, mine was a torque 10 not a torque 15. Mine is a 2023 but I didn’t think that would’ve changed. 🤷🏼♂️
The dark, dark smoke on your all blacked out 2023 has to be amazing! Weird on the size, I went out to the garage and grabbed a torque 15 socket (smallest I have in socket form) and it was too big but the screw driver torque that did fit said T15 so IDK I bet they are the same size and my torque's screwdriver is mis labeled or something. 🤷♂️
Just bought the same one for my gsxr , do a lot of trips on it and it’s my daily so the wind deflection/performance look was a win
I never had a problem with the wind my self but I do like the look of that screen....keep safe
I picked up the WRS clear windscreen & I love it.
Hayabusa Rules!!
Indeed it does!

That makes perfect sense
Sweet love the screen quality and glad you wrenching ✌👈👀Busa Legend
That was the easiest mod so far......😁👍

HAYABUSA FOREVER ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Thanks for video brother 👍🏼 did you have to remove the plastic lugs on the inside to remove the stock screen ??
I did not sure if it's need though but only takes a second
Great video brother, put the same one on mine but have taken it off for around town everyday usage and reserve it for Highway trips.....
Thanks man! It's so easy to swap that makes sense!
New screen looks badass. Love it.
Thanks Chewie! I wish I did this mod sooner...here's to 2023 road trips!!!

Nice vid. I got the tallest one and it definitely looked goofy so I took it off immediately. Back to stock for now lol
Thanks 😁 👍 I bet it provided killer wind protection though!!! Ebay it and get touring short version
Nice tutorial bro. I was also planning to change my windscreen on my budget sportsbike. 😁👍
Thanks man!

I tried this one and it is good, but I love my new Puig screen
Which Puig did you go with again?
Great video as always !
Thanks man 👍

I'm happy with it so far but it will be 4-5 months before I can test it on a long ride.

Just FYI, I'm 75 years old and still ride like I did at 30... Not 20, a little more conservative. I've never hit the rev limiter in 5th or 6th
Good on you still ripping at 75!!
LOL.NIce easy swap!Geez.2 screws.AWesome.
Calling people dumb whilst not concentrating and riding no-hands! Blaming the other guy for seeing him at the last minute! 😂

Looks awesome!!! Are you considering replacing those torque screws with black ones?
That's a brilliant idea!!! I guess I am now...
@@MonkeyButtRides if you are feeling fancy, heat saturated titanium. Lol

I am 6' 2" and the only thing I did on my Busa was lower the pegs 1 ".... now it is very comfortable for me.
@@DJPTEXAS thanks brotha man 👌

Hey are you gonna use the helibars risers also?
No plans to yet but I ain't getting any younger so who knows....
Any difference on the wind while you riding in the highway?

the tru test would be i70
HaHa, yes and you know from experience!!
Bro do you know who does lowering links? I cant find anyone that sells them for Gen 3 Busa, i cant stand T Rex they dont answer emails.

@@MonkeyButtRides yeah maybe. When I get a chance I’ll take a picture of the new windscreen on the bike and send it to your email. Take care homie.
How many centimetres is higher than the stock screen ?
Almost 4 (3.8) centimeters. I opted for the shortest of the 3 touring windscreens that Zerogravity offers.
I got a piece of string and the interstate
@@rickg.8231 super high tech the way I like it
@MonkeyButtRides if it works it works. It got the point across

How tall are you exactly?
6ft or 1.8 meters
