Thank You! Your work is amazing! I believe I need the same exact work done on my 2001 Sportster 883. I bought it pre-owned with under 18K miles on it, drove it almost daily for 16 months. At under 20K miles. . . . .It developed oil coming up through the spark plug threads/holes, on both cylinders. I have not the time or place to do this so I am saving up an estimated $5K to have a “vintage Harley-Davidson motor rebuild” shop do it for me.
Great camera and handy work! a clean film! a few questions tho did you reused the piston gaskets, as well as the pin locks and bushings? also how did you clean the pistons and other housings?
actually how did you clean everything? what is that machine/solvent? did you do the same to the cylinders and pistons? did you undo the rocker arm bushings?
That tank has simple green (soap) and is called an ultrasonic cleaner. It vibrates and heats up. Cool machine, got it on amazon for $300 - amzn.to/2WrJ34J
I'm rebuilding my 2002 sportster 883. Are both arrows on the pistons facing front of the motorcycle? I found one video this guy is saying it should face the exhaust pipes. Is this true?
I want to close the engine with the new guns. to assemble the engine I need a workshop shop. to see how much I need to tighten the bolts and screws on the cylinder and cylinder head
hello. I am from Albania. I have an S & S engine (No. A09872) from 2000. I am looking for a catalog for installation instructions. can you suggest me where to look?

Do you only have to torque down the heads?
I’m bout to do the same on a 1996 softtail. If the parts list pretty much the same?
Do you have a specific link for top end kits for a 1200 engine? I just want to replace the top end and all I can find is 1250 conversions. Thank you!
Yeah man, here ya go: www.amazon.com/dp/B009XIOZJW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_UlAFDbKC1P572
Ok , but what was the issue ? I noticed new rings going in but no hone ?
