Adding the music below the cover is such a nice addition to these videos! Julia has such good feel and time and this makes it easier to play along and try to match her style without worrying about sorting out the notes!
For those of us, who "kinda" play bass... I am so grateful for this Lesson. The line below is such a huge boost into playing. It's really what I needed. OMGosh!!! Thanks!!!
the one and only Masterblaster! thank you! I used to listen to this song every morning to start the day in the right mood. It lasted... several months! :/ and this song makes you proud to be a bass player! :p
What really impresses me, absides your playing, is the feelings you transport with your mimics, so that others can feel your feelings in that moment - that's what I define as master-class! Thanks for your lesson 🙂
Julia's a little powerhouse! She plays so well, and she has such a friendly mannerism that it is fun to watch and learn from her. While I read music, but I'm still learning how bass (and guitars) use notation, so this is on my to-do list as it has an incredibly bass line.
There's a few videos that start my weekend a happy man. This video is one of them. 🙏 Now where are those TV theme covers I was talking about before: Alf Tatort (late 70s) Kojak Starsky & Hutch 😁
It is a pleasure, always, to see your videos. I don't even play - but I enjoy your passion and energy. I appreciate your time and energy that goes into these; and just for being you. So thanks and keep on keeping on.
Gracias Julia por incluir este gran temazo del gran STEVIE!!! , genial la partitura!! ahora si me compro un bajo, espero tener tiempo para aprender, con tus consejos lograre mucho.
I don't play bass, I play piano, but I love visually following the bass lines along with your playing. And as usual, your choice of songs is excellent !
Please, please, PLEASE! can you do some Level 42? And talk about how Mark King plays those incredible bass lines and is the lead singer at the same time! Running in The Family, Something About You, The Chinese Way, Lessons in Love
This is really a nice groove into the weekend, thank you for my Friday Julia bass dose, very well played, love those triplets, so also a nice weekend for you Julia too =)
Thanks! This looks difficult but I'm determined to master it. Having the notation & tab works wonders. And you truly are... Jamming. I enjoyed watching & will enjoy learning. Thanks again!
Great, thanks Julia. What about a next song of the Beatles: While my guitar gently weeps, of George Harrison, well known for Eric Clapton’s guitar solo, but with a remarkable bass line from Paul McCartney? All the best, knarf from France 🎸 🇨🇵
Great job! Not a very easy song to play. I love the efficiency of the movement of your hands. I need to learn that! Where can we get that transcription? Thanks Julia!
Ciao Julia, try to cover some bass riff by The TOOL songs. For example: Schism or Forty six & 2 or Lateralus or Parabola or Pneuma, etc. It will give you good emotions and me too. Solid Body Italy
Julia another bass player close to my heart Nathan Watts know him well... I'll take you to meet him...your shout, oh yeah great track yellow suit's you...💙👊😎
Hi... This is great but there's a bit at the end when the notation/tab disappears and you keep jamming. I'm almost there but can't quite get the ending... it sounds complex but it's so frustrating!
Great, as always, but why cut off the last (and most difficult) riff??? You had it, and we could hear it, but you cut the video short by 5 seconds. WHY???
Julia killing it as always!
It's a joy to watch Julia play bass, without the editing tricks. All I need to see are both hands and her expressions while playing. 🤙😍
Adding the music below the cover is such a nice addition to these videos! Julia has such good feel and time and this makes it easier to play along and try to match her style without worrying about sorting out the notes!

Learned this nice bassline more than 30 years ago ! 😄
Nicely played
Its an awesome day when Julia drops a video. It would be awesome to hear some bass lines on an upright bass some time.
So complicated! You have an amazing memory!
Next: "Turn off the Lights" by Larry Young's Fuel (please!)
Steve is an icon 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Die Idee mit den Noten und den Tabs ist echt super. So kann man einfacher mitspielen. Sehr gute Idee. 👍
Thanks!
thank you julia. The bass line looks simple but it's complicated. But I will try to learn
Thanks Julia, the bass line accompanies the song perfectly.
What really impresses me, absides your playing, is the feelings you transport with your mimics, so that others can feel your feelings in that moment - that's what I define as master-class!

Great work! That doesn't seem easy!😊

Phenomenal, just phenomenal.
All respect and admiration.
This feels much truer to the original than any other I’ve seen on YT. Brava!
Julia! Quanto sei brava!
Great Video 🎶🎶
Mighty good lesson!
This the jam right here!
Yes, that's a very nice bassline.
Thanks for reminding.
Thanks! This looks difficult but I'm determined to master it. Having the notation & tab works wonders. And you truly are... Jamming. I enjoyed watching & will enjoy learning. Thanks again!

Magic
Julia, Apache by Tommy Seebach Band! Pleeeease 🙏
Hi Julia, you should try a few bass lines from Rush, especially YYZ! Thanks, Marc, Quebec Canada 😉🎼
Jammin 🤘🏾
Great video! Could you make a video on Paul mccartney if you haven't already?
Sweet
❤🎉
Good choice. because of all the repeated notes this might be great tune for practicing different amounts of shuffle/swing/souless robot metronome 🤖
Great tutorial as always from you. Could I be cheeky and ask for the PDF tab of this song please
great tab, just wish it was at the top so the time bar didn't get in the way
Good shit
always happy to see Brunswicks Basses featured!
❤❤❤
Yup that's wierd, I was just listening to this an hour ago😂
Ciao Julia,

I was a bit worried about the pineapples until 00:45 🤣
Omg, why'd you stop the tab right there!! XD Now I gotta play it the way the other guy plays it lol
Sorry to post an unrelated topic. But will you be doing a best of Andy Rourke Basslines video? Would be a fitting tribute
Hi... This is great but there's a bit at the end when the notation/tab disappears and you keep jamming. I'm almost there but can't quite get the ending... it sounds complex but it's so frustrating!
I just noticed that you finger directly on the fret. I watched a few vids to make sure it was not a one-off. I have never seen anyone do that before.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Kind of feels like a reggae bass line in the verses.
afterall this song is about Bob marley, stevie wonder named him "master blaster".
why did they cut the ending?
😨
more bass vids
Great, as always, but why cut off the last (and most difficult) riff??? You had it, and we could hear it, but you cut the video short by 5 seconds. WHY???
Hi, we need Geyy Lee top 10
Oops, cut off?
Buongiorno Julia, come va? ❤
0:42... eighth notes Julia... not quarter notes..😊
The Bass Sound would bei better with a real Fender Precision Bass.
The video is stopped in the middle of the best part? Honestly? Seriously? Why?
That is not a lesson in playing its a lesson in reading music.
Always so insecure ! lol ( not ! )
I love this channel but that was about the silliest thing to cut on that run in the bridge..I mean seriously?..ok
