Thanks Tony for this whole series on Topaz labs apps. I found them very useful. A couple of clarifications: You can drag and drop images on the the app on a PC. Also, like the other Topaz apps, when you save an image on the PC it creates a new file that it appends the gigapixel parameters that were used to create the file. It does not overwrite the original file.
That's right. You can even drag an image from another program if they implemented drag and drop.

Thank you, Anthony. You reminded me of a few things I had forgotten. Now that you have been using the latest version of Gigapixel AI, I am curious whether you feel it represents an appreciable improvement over the prior version.
Really enjoy your content Anthony. Can I use GPAI as a plugin in LR (basic version)?
On my Windows Gigapixel AI, if I go to Preferences I can cause it to save each processed file to a different name avoiding overwriting. One option saves as a suffix what settings were used on that shot but I generally just have it place a prefix zzz on the existing name which causes that file to alphabetize at the bottom where it is easy to find. I have no idea if this works on your Apple or not. I don't use Apple or Adobe so much in your videos is not all that useful to me but this one bothered me because you repeatedly criticized the program for what simply is not the case with what I have done. I will also mention that I have had several non CG photos that looked best using Art & CG which does not make sense to me but taught me not to assume that one of the settings would be bad without checking.
Good. I dislike lightroom.. When I use gigapixel ai trial and hit save image as ,button down below at bottom right on a PC the option to save as a file type, srgb,etc.shows up automtically as it does when you hit save as file up above in file tab in your example. I don't have to go into the upper file tab,save as like you do. For some reason it won't do it in your example. The thing I hate about Gigapixel is it keeps trying to constantly update as I move the silders,blur,noise, etc. I wish it wouldn't do that and had an update button so I could set the sliders first, hit update and then start up dating. Then 😢it could stop constantly trying to keep updating until after the sliders are set where a person wants them. PLUS i cant find a tutorial for what every button doss on the program and I have to guess at every icon such as the round circles with dots in them, etc. Its like let's guess what this icon does unlike photoshop tutorials, etc.
Six point something versions of gigapixel destroy the colors in my images. I've reverted back to version 5.6.1. I've mentioned this on the common board at topaz and no response. Others seem to have had the same issue. Can anyone offer some insights?
I have a 61mp file and low resolution is always the best. However, at 61 mp and shot with good light and fast shutter that makes this app obsolete

Can you/or should use a raw file directly? It wouldn’t work on my Leica M8 files. It just would crash or do nothing at all.
I have never had a problem with a RAW file crashing the program, but I did have a major problem with the more recent versions of Gigapixel (after 2.0.0 from 2021) crashing all the time when I tried to upsize a large file - scan of an oil painting - that was 40 x 40 inches to 48 x 48 inches at 300 DPI. I have an older computer which I am sure is part of the problem, but also I think it was the related to the way they were apportioning the work load in the later versions to use the CPU as opposed to the GPU in tandem with the CPU. When I do this type of upsizing with the older version and follow along in Task Manager the CPU is around 45 and the GPU is usually around 30, whereas the GPU with the newer versions is almost if not at 0.
In the preferences there is the option to include the models in the file name in such a way that the original is not overwritten. What does bother is that every time you have to delete the file from the program while in Photo AI they already put an option so that after saving, the file is automatically deleted from the program.
I prefer Gigapixel AI instead of Photo AI, the bad thing is that surely they are not going to make many changes to this program, although they continue to keep the price high.
