In the Netherlands we do have these (regular) markets where they’ll sell - eggs and cheese - clothes - nuts and seeds - fabric (although getting more rare) - even a travelling bike seller/ repairman - and my favourite stall was with the discounted books to scavenge through :) oh and I even saw those more artisanal stalls where they’d sell jars with candles and creams etc!

I feel like the market being more condensed fits the theme of a city market better. It's more cramped, bustling, lively, more likely to bump into something. I get from a satisfying design level wanting to space it out more but when I think of a farmer's market, I think of no elbow room!
Speaking of elbows, hopefully your heals up.

One suggestion with that front area would be to build an old train station building which has now been converted into a market with many small venders inside. The top of the structure could have curved glass, allowing you to see inside. This could tie the train station to the market very well. Anyways, love your videos!

Those close-fit piece tolerances mean that Lego is surprisingly sharp. I have a scar on my thumb from attempting to decouple some stacked plates, slipping, and the corner taking a slice off my thumb. Nice wide shallow cut, needed a chemical cauterization stick. I'm glad you only suffered minor cuts, and moreover, thst you didn't collapse the table and destroy months of work...

Regarding the additional market stalls. In my country, markets have usually more than food. You may have some people selling clothes, kitchen utensils (like pots and pans, or wooden spoons), and in some special markets you even have sellers of collectibles (coins, stamps, etc) , antiques, CDs, painters selling their art, all types of things.
Some ideas that I think would work well in LEGO:
    - Cheeses, sausages and hams stall
    - kitchen utensils stall
    - paintings

It’s fun and games till there’s an earthquake and the entire city breaks.

For extra market stalls you could separate the fruits and vegetables. One stall for fruit and a second for veg. Maybe add an extra stall selling jars of home made jams pickles and sauces. More stalls could sell equipment a farmer would buy, eg garden tools fork spade rake sweeping brush. Secateurs or scissors. A small trowel or other hand tools.

At first I thought “oh well at least it looks like the fall didn’t do too much damage”
Then you showed your arm and I changed my mind.
That must’ve hurt like all hell

I hope one day I have enough space to do a lego city as insane as this. For now that’s really the only thing holding me back. I wanna make an entire city made of Mocs like your city you have here, but I’d style it like nyc. Right now I don’t even really have space to set up a single lego table

I've worked some small-town farmer's markets. I'm not sure how different they would be in a city, but craftsmen also sell at these markets. Handmade wood products, rugs, and soap to name a few. Additionally, florists sell potted plants and bouquets of flowers. Hope this helps!

To the left of the market, what about a fountain, to break up the space between zones of different purposes.
That market area feels very plaza like.

Jesus christ. LEGO please sponsor this guy wtf. This is awesome, I'm assuming this is all your own design and no premade stuff was really used minus like the cars or stalls or the train or something. But damn, this is incredible lol
