- The Recirculation Door Actuator was causing a clicking or ticking noise under the dash so I changed the Recirculation Door Actuator to fix it.

This video helped me out a lot. Had another issue I was looking at and came across this and happen to have this issue as well. Got it fixed it no time for less than 30 bucks. Thank you sir.
Was able to fix it with the help of this video. Be warned the if you don't have a small enough and wide enough screw driver the screws are very stubborn and do not like to come out.

What are Symptons of a bad actuator ? Mine is clicking and the AC takes a while to start up. I also noticed now it will have really strong air flow and after a few minutes it gets down to half the strength I’m not sure if they are all related. But the only symptom I got prior was the clicking noise so ima start there.
How do I know which actuator it is??
The dodge chrysley dealer said theymdont chamge actuator only housinh! $470 are they crazy!

Does it still make that noise even when the ac is off? Because mine does.

@@737mechanic I wonder what the issue with mine is then. It’s a clicking noise by my steering wheel dash. Even when I haven’t turned it on at all does the noise still occur.
@@boomboom-nr5et It could still be the actuator. If you can get to the connector, unplug it and see if it stops.
Mine makes the noise when the car is off, but it comes from behind the glove box like in the video
@@boomboom-nr5et assuming you fixed it already but incase you haven't. Mine made the clicking noise while the car was off, since fixing it I haven't notice it making the noise at all.
Dont know why dealerahip cant change actuators?? They wantnto replace housing for $470
