Once again the restoration looks better than the factory original! I love the metallic paint colour and the wooden bed liner. Were these trucks (the original, not the toy) popular? I have seen the Econoline Vans many times, but I do not recall ever seeing the pickup truck version.
Thanks! The Econolines did actually come in a pickup configuration. Depending on the pickup configurations, they either came with wrap around cab windows or a single rear window. They are really neat unique trucks!
I an a Ford guy. Is that red ford a 68? Looks like 390 badge on the fender. Is it a 390? Thatsy favorite engine. I actually owned a 61 Econoline truck years ago. I have several Nylint econolines. Only one repainted. I have videos if interested
The truck in the beginning is our 1968 Ford F250 Camper Special, with a big block 390. The 390 is fantastic and it’s still pulling as strong as ever. We really like your Econoline Suburban Pumper truck, and the video you made on it was great. We have never even heard of that Nylint model before, and it is awesome!
In highschool, my dad and I took one of his work trucks and built it for me. It was a 66 f100. We built a gt390. That truck would fly. I use to drag race it. Won many races in my youth. I love the FE series engines.

Great content, great restoration, Wow! Just a little bit of feedback for your young channel: SKIP cheesy stock music in the background (imo). It's distracting (for me personally unbearable). Audiences of restoration channels (seem to) just want to hear the sound of the tools. Lookup, for example, "my mechanics" (TH-cam channel) and you'll know what I mean. Best wishes!

I used to drive one of those to deliver new furniture when I was young. The drivers side headlight is backwards.

Easier to flip the chassis to lower these and add wheel tubs... ive done several.

Should of painted it the original color
With the suspension being lowered and the custom wood bed insert, we felt the flat light pink would not be special enough for this custom ride.
What’s with the gloves?
We work with a lot of paint and dangerous chemicals, that is often very hard to get off our hands. We believe that it is better to be safe than sorry!
