I mean I love the knives and gear reviews and all but no one is doing clothes! I love how you were detailed and showed everything and not just mention it and go to the next thing!
I've been wearing 5.11 Apex exclusively for over a year now. They are the best pants I've owned. I've got a follow up video on them after six months of wear. I'll have another follow up videos on them as I get to a full years' use with the second set I bought.
Great review guys, I have been loving my Apex pants for over a year now and am glad to see them get some love on TH-cam. I even wear a black pair for slacks sometimes and no one even notices. Hope to see more clothing reviews this year. Such an important part of an edc systems that gets overlooked often.
5.11 makes some great products! I've been wearing the Stryke pants for years and I'm digging the new jeans they just came out with! Please review the jeans when you get your hands on them
Fell in love with these pants as they don't look overly tactical. Somewhat similar with the old 5.11 Covert pants but not as baggy and stretchable. Cargo pockets are discreet as well. You may even hide a small folding surgical blade in one of those hidden pockets for use with plastic zip tie handcuffs. Have all the colors except for the black. Great review!
Do full-size Glock mags print through the front pockets? I run Prana Zions everyday but I'm looking for a replacement because I can't pocket carry a spare mag without printing.
They seem very similar to the 'Prana bronson pant' made by prana. Made for rock climbing, 99% tough cotton, 1% lycra .... Seriously check them out, best pant I have found and even come in yellow and red! These pants look awesome.
I'm looking at tactical pants right now from La police gear and tactical gear websites, I'm thinking lower end though, I've got four pairs in my cart that come to a hundred and I'm just worried they won't fit and with mailing and waiting how much of a pain it might be to shop online for clothes. I've had difficulty before and swore no more bedding or clothes online to stores that aren't able to make local returns at. Plus these are slightly out of the budget, for this price I want a leprechaun granting me wishes with it. Thx for the great review and once again right on par for what I'm looking for, how do you keep reading my mind.

The Apex are hands down my favorite as well. I rotate three pairs of these as well that shuffle in rotation with a couple of pairs of their Stonecutter pants - awesome as well with similar fit. 👍
Great Video. Have you by chance ever heard of MASCOT Workwear? They're a high end workwear company out of Denmark and make very innovative work pants for the wind power industry.. They just launched a new line called "ADVANCED" which is by far the best pair I've ever worn. Check them out if you have time. Keep up the good work.

I'm in a southwest desert environment and I this type of pants as everyday wear - teaching college, etc. So I want one that is less tactical looking and very light weight. Do you know which 5.11 I should get?
check out the LA police gear atlas pants. Just got a pair this week and I like them for flexibility. Might check out the 5.11 though for the slimmer fit factor

Aren't they the same as Apex though? Same material (Flex Tac), same teflon anti-stain finish, the only difference is that Strykes got a different cargo pocket design, and they also sport kneepad sections, other than that - it's basically twin brother of Apex.

Are you carrying your voice recording on you? Just took my Apex for a nice hike. Crossed the creek 7 times at about knee high. The pants dry quick.
What belt system are you using around 6:40? I tried the pants but wasn't sure about the spandex part. I'll have to give them a second look.

lapg atlas pants are da bomb. I'm not sure if they'd fit similarly to the ones you first showed off but those things looked super tight on you.
