That’s weird. I’ve never had any problems with mine. The neck is the best I’ve ever felt and the frets were extremely good as well. Didn’t stick out at all

I'm pretty sure the fan who made it understands that a hand-me-down squier covered in spray paint and sharpie feels worse than Jared's 5K custom guitars. Jared was not dragging the fan, he appreciates the sentiment, but he won't deny that it's a cheap guitar.

My only guitar is a 2007 SG in cherry red. First guitar, only guitar I'll ever really feel comfortable on. Action is exactly where I want it, I swapped the bridge pickup myself, and I played my first show with it. Had it for 3 years and I'm never gonna sell it. Plays like a dream.

a better challenge would be to only play the guitars rather than touch them everywhere, most of them had specific physical elements that enable you to recognize it very easily, but if you're only allowed to play it (so only touch the strings and the fretboard) i think it'd be a more interesting challenge

It is so easy. You just touch every single part. Try it like rob chapman, only play it and check the feel of the neck and body. No touching, someone else will change the switch position and vol/tone knobs.

This would have been a lot more interesting if you could only like play it and only feel the neck/fretboard/hear it. They mostly have very distinct shapes to at least certain parts of them, so I'm not at all surprised you could tell which ones they were by _feeling the whole guitar's shape including the headstock like you were reading braille and mapping out the whole thing with your hands..._ lol.

My first guitar is a black Squier strat and of recommend it 100% if you’re just learning.
He should try the guitar center idea, that way he could try and feel other iconic guitar bodies like the fender jazzmaster or the epiphone dot and more
You should do the same but andertons/chapman style - no touching of the headstock or around the body, just by how it feels to play and sounds.

I have ten guitars and I could tell you what guitar it is lust by playing it
has 40... i have 3 - and the acoustic is in the middle of getting a split bridge replaced... the strat clone would be REAL easy for me to recognize because i built it myself from a kit and i modded the ever lovin shit out of it (thinking about scalloping the fretboard next), the les paul clone would be more difficult, but i think the aftermarket knurled speed knobs would give it away - they arent too common...
