Antihypertensives are a drug class used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). They oppose the effects of the sympathetic nervous system (SNS), which causes the body's blood vessels to constrict - resulting in raised blood pressure.
It's important to know how antihypertensives work since they can have serious side effects. Watch to learn more!

160 / 100 - Although my BP runs an average daily pressure of 210 / 145 & thats being on 8 BP MEDS daily & 2 of them twice daily,,, so if you run EXTREME HIGH BP,,
The combination of
CIALIS & NITROGLYCERIN,, is NOT a deadly combination OR at least for me.

hello sir! im just really concern about my dad. he's taking beta blockers prescribed by his GP even tho he was also diagnosed with copd. why was he prescribed? he was also diagnosed with PH recently..he actually have hep B and liver cirrhosis :(

I'm on midodrine it lower my heart rate I need it back up I'm only on it for low blood pressure
i have been using beta blocker for many years.But now my health is keep reducing and i have to use it almost everyday.HBP makes my brain confuse and nervous,it usually happens at night
Does beta blockers not okay to take with patient who has hyperglycemia?

You spend more time coming up with silly acronyms than actually talking about the content you're supposed to remember. You're doubling the mental work load of these students with this sort of strategy instead of just teaching them what they need to know.
I disagree with this. The silly acronyms REALLY help!! I remember these acronyms and they help me memorise information. Its what attracted to me these vids! I am SO grateful! Nurse Mike is a blessing for nursing students like me!
And who is forcing to learn them or be here. If u can't appreciate him don't come here talking silly words
they actually help. find another video suited for you:)!
