Just scored full marks in my class test without even looking at the book. Just heard your lecture for just 3 times and nailed it! Thank u again sir. U r absolutely an amazing teacher!! Shall never miss any videos u share. Waiting eagerly for more pharmacology videos. Thank u!!
16:00 another important thing ACE does is it breaks down bradykinin. Therefore ACEi will disinhibit bradykinin breakdown and cause a dry cough as an adverse effect. ARBs won't have this AE because they block ATII receptors, not ACE, so a patient on losartan can still break down bradykinin. This is important to know for exams.
I studied your videos for the HESI nursing entrance exam and got a 100 in Anatomy section. Now, I’m attending your lectures for my Nursing Pharmacology class. I always look at your videos first before looking for anyone else in TH-cam. Thank you so much and God Bless! Greetings from Florida, USA.
AMAZING! This video helped me pass my pharm final, all I could remember on my test were the drawings🙏🏼 thank you Dr.Mike keep up the good work. You’re a legend!
Amazing Lecture! Thank you for taking the time to explain such a bread and butter topic. I would like to point out that in 2017 the ACC/AHA updated their guidelines. Beta-blockers are no longer recommended as initial monotherapy. They recommend that initial therapy be chosen from among ACE inhibitors, ARBs, Thiazide-like diuretics, and long acting CCBs. Please keep up with the great content!
All medical and nursing students, do yourselves a huge favour and watch every video. Brilliant teaching techniques. Thank you so much, all the dots are joining up.
...and take notes. The internet must be a world where creative and credible contents is paramount. This guy is a gold mind and a huge contributor towards that end.
Watching this video while confined in a hospital for heart attack😅🥺. I don’t have to pass any school exam, I just need to pass this hurdle of my life🙏 Great teacher and great video
Dr. Mike, thank you so much! You explain things in a way that's super easy to follow. As a new grad nurse in a cardiac ICU, your videos are helping me strengthen my basics so I can better understand hemodynamics. I can't believe this kind of content is free, much appreciated and thank you for your work :)
I love the way you build up and lay out information bit by bit. You make learning so much less complicated! Thank you for consistently producing such brilliant content.
The explanation of even basic concepts is given, this video is just enough for anyone to understand HTN and anti-HTN drugs. Thank you so very much sir.
what other lecturers teach in 2 hour you teach it in less than half an hour and teach it so effectively that there is no need of watching that 2 hrs time wasting lecture.. please never stop making videos. it will be more helpful if you make more pharmacology videos especially on ANS. much love from Pakistan.
A million thank you's for these videos! Im really looking forward to more Pharm content from you! This nursing Student in NY REALLY appreciates your work!!!
In fact, you are ordained from heaven to support we the health students and practicians, salute Sir,may God richly bless you abundantly for everything you losing for our sake.

Eating flaxseed is associated with reduced blood pressure in people with hypertension (high blood pressure), according to a study presented at the American Heart Association's Scientific Sessions
Regards for Excellent Fitness level , Biceps,Triceps, Shoulders,Abs. Very simple explanation with simple volume calculation , thorough in subject .You are a Definition of True Inspiring Doctor. However I can add that Diabetes II and Hypertension is mainly Diseases of Dietary /Metabolic Imbalance ,contributed by liver , pancreas, kidney and Fats in cells due to imbalance in dietary intact .You must take more lectures on improving life style to make people as healthy as you are. Salute and Regards once again.
Doctor, you are truly a blessing. I am so inspired by your passion for teaching and how you make these informative videos. They help so much. I have been watching your videos for a good year now and still to this day I am amazed by the way you explain things. I wish you were my professor. LOVE YOU
Great video as usual making everything so easy to understand and make sense. I have a question regarding CHF. In CHF case, oxygen saturation of the blood may be reduced because the blood is not adequately oxygenated in the lungs. My question that whether inadequate oxygenation of blood in the lung is due to fluid accumulation in the lung caused by left sided heart failure or lungs are unable to work properly because heart is distributing insufficient blood to vital organs? Hope my question makes sense
I wish we would teacher who can explain in simple way.. Like u... In our med college.... Thank so much helpful videos! For posting!... 😀even make scoring good marks in exam before one day! 😁
Thanks so much for these videos, you guys are so good at making these topics comprehensible which is so important in helping people actually remember, as opposed to just memorising. I just have a quick question, when you mention noradrenaline and adrenaline acting on the B1 receptors of the heart, you say 'sympathetic neurone releasing adrenaline', but i thought that adrenaline circulated in the blood due to the effects of noradrenaline on the adrenal glands; is adrenaline also released by the neurone too? Thanks :)
My friend's uncle was suffering from this problem. He was very upset during that time. Then, someone told about Planet Ayurveda. He went to Planet Ayurveda and started his treatment. Now he is fine.
My cardiologist gave me Carvedilol 25 mg and the same time internist gave me Amlodipin 5 mg.am I on right treatment? I had a trauma peripheral nerve damage before .
I had to shout wow! at this explanations For someone like me who is very inquisitive Who needs to be convinced why something is happening before i understand Thank you
