Early Pioneer Log Cabin in Monroe County, WV which needs to be saved. It’s on the site of “Thompson’s Fort,” a small fort, or fortified residence, in Pickaway, Monroe County, West Virginia. It needs to be moved off its original site. Me and my brother go and check out the logistics of it. It’s bigger than I remembered.... And it has a super unusual original front roof overhang with a double gable and an early “mud room” of sorts. I’ve never seen this design around here.
