It's hard to believe that the second year of my log cabin building had already came to an end. Another year of hard and what at times feels like endless work. It's when I look back at the end of the year and realize the progress I've made so far. The structure now is closed in from the outside elements, which is a big achievement for me and it's a relief to have the logs protected from the rain. Doing everything DIY for sure is taking a lot more time and work, but the satisfaction of seeing something grow built by your hands it's an indescribable feeling and I take great pride in doing it my way.

I've been watching from the beginning of your build, sure doesn't seem like two years, you have accomplished an awful lot in two years, pray for continued good health and safety, for you to finish what you love to do .
It goes by so fast, but at the same time it seems like there's so much work, that it will never be done.
Praying isn’t going to help getting things done. Hard work is.

I miss the days when I could work like that. It always made me feel good. Your a bull and I mean that in the best way. I used to build houses till I got hurt and I miss not being able to work like that anymore. God bless you and your family. I used to have my daughter help like that on the weekends.
