Good for you! I always salute Kindergarten and preschool teachers especially. Teaching those youngest-age schoolchildren takes a special set of patience, understanding, commitment, and cheerfulness to say the least. Good luck with reaching your goal of becoming a Kindergarten teacher! :)
Best friends, I saw a small glimpse of my period 4 roster for next year and lord help me I'm going to have to take up drinking. Why don't they think about who they put in classes together? Certain kids shouldn't be in class together.
I got called the Devil this year because I told 5 of my fifth grade girls that they couldn't crowd together in one bathroom stall to film tik tok videos.
“Makes the demons tremble” is a line from a modern Christian song…talking about Jesus, lol. So maybe, the kid is hearing stuff at church that will help her…we can hope.

I want you to know that I saw your video from a year ago when you walked out of your classroom. As a teacher of 22 years, I completely understand where you are coming from. I was a sped teacher and had some of the most extreme cases in my class. I battled constantly with the admin on the paperwork of my students that said, "small group setting" and they thought it was an interpretation of what they considered "small group". I am sorry, but 25-30 sped students in a classroom is not "small group setting"! After 22 years, I retired early as I set it up so I could retire early.
The bug situation is AWFUL at my school. Cockroaches, spiders, gnats, flies, you name it, it's there. We also had a snake one time. Not as bad as the middle school my brother went to. They had an alligator on the blacktop while PE was happening outside and then less than a month later they had a bear in the woods right outside the school. You could see it out the classroom windows

I’m a retired teacher and I’m currently supervising Year 12 trial examinations before their finals at the end of the year. I’m amazed at the number of students who come to the exam without a pen. I ran out of spare pens last week and didn’t get most of them returned. ✏️🥹 🇦🇺
I sent an email round to all my middle school parents mid way through this year about stationary. Basically "get your kid a pencil case and fill 'er up". I was done with kids giving me attitude for running out of pencils they only use to break and throw at each other.
My rule is that I give one pencil to each student who forgets theirs, and no more! They lose the pencil I gave them? They'll have to find another one themselves (without stealing from anyone that is).
