When you're upside down having just shot your legs through (3:56) it seems like there's heel exposure there already should you want it - is there a reason you don't catch it right there?
Appreciate the question, digging for the heel in that perspective would be difficult, if you want the heel from there, you could move on to a back side 50/50, but I honestly like controlling the secondary leg, control their movement so you have time to solidify the submission
Pendulum method is great when you feeling like you cant bridge your opponent to one knee, so instead you'll use a pendulum method to get them to one knee, making the lateral kipping escape much easier.
@@nickortizjiujitsu I thought cross ashi denoted that the the feet are unlocked like in ashi garami. Once they are locked on the inside then it is 4/11, or Honey Hole no?
Nice detail to get the kipping escape (bumping the opponent a bit forward with the armpit post).
Good luck on this new journey.
Thank you Max, I appreciate your time.
Glad to see you posting again!
Thank you Eric, I appreciate you taking the time to watch
Appreciate the content. Right amount of information. As short as possible, as long as necessary. Good concept, keep it up! :)

In what situation would the pendulum kipping escape be a better choice than a regular kipping escape?

@@nickortizjiujitsu thanks alot.
Why'd you leave b-team?
Wasn't a fit for me.
I'm going to use "and now we're in an offensive cycle" when I go back to drinking raw liquid egg white cartons every day and stinking my family out
As you should 🔥🙏🔥
isnt that honey hole?
4/11, Honey Hole, Cross Ashi, w.e you want it to be.

Cross ashi more refers to the position, as you're perpendicular to your opponent.
