    Are you training in the hyperbolic time chamber?

    This is the best explanation I have seen on the Kipping escape! Wow, sometimes you see something and it just clicks. Thanks!

    Major detail is when kipping only concentrate on extending legs forward, solo drilling that way will really help, kipping extension automatically brings your legs back and will enable you to ratchet enough space for your knee to enter into an ashi garami

      Dude the escape is on Danahers newest DVD but I could not get it to work because I was not doing it the way you said. On the DVD he says that Garry Tonon himself took 3 months to get a hang of the move. With your TH-cam comment(out of all things) you have fixed the move for me! Thank you so much!

      @@janringbeck4119 glad it helped I haven’t seen John’s new DVD (yet) but there are a few more details that once mastered will make you let people mount you just to heel hook them and it goes really well with the elbow escape (covered on John’s solo DVD (which is free)

      can you elaborate on this please

    • @mrfuku1
      @mrfuku1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mkum2141 place the ball of one foot on top of your instep forming a triangle, once your palms on the inside of his hip points, choose the escape side bump him forward in the direction of that shoulder, ideally his head at minimum lined up with yours, press both knees against his back engage your core and relax, now the kipping motion begins, so with him already a few inches off center knees maintaining pressure kick your legs in the direction over your shoulder (your elbows in the mat framing and guiding him using your skeletal structure it’s not a bench press, maintaining foot over foot connection kick your legs forward only and relax after then repeat in short ratchety motion that will move you Do Not even think of pulling back your legs after extension just keep kipping forward (your legs will naturally pull back just by relaxing enabling a quicker more effective movement) and all the space you need is just to get your knee in front of his hip on the same side you chose, using a hand over frame on that hip to elbow escape and I prefer to use the frame to switch the side my hips are on in order bring my knee to his other hip and enter an ashi garami

    Thanks for this detailed overview. Very helpful! I have been struggling with this escape, but after watching your video I have clearly been doing it incorrectly.

    Great job on this! There is also a front mount escape where you scoop your arm inside his inner upper leg, and you explode through his legs underneath (not the armpit escape). Can you please review this? thank you!

    Loving the Psych ward vibes of the video. Blink twice if you're okay.
