Your insurance rates rise because of these scams lol. Insurance is shared risk so if these scams are making claims cost more then you will see rate changes to adjust for that. Premiums are calculated by risk and these fraud claims makes risk increase.

@@apokalypze626 well if you watch the video you'd understand. They're having people sign an assignment of benefits form which gives them full control over any claims process for the vehicle. So they can bill exorbitant and unnecessary repairs to the insurance company and since they have that assignment of benefits form they have taken over representation for the policy holder. Not only can they replace a windshield that only really needs to be filled, but they can claim other repairs they didn't actually do and make profit. That's the scam and it ends up making insurance rates for everyone go up because the more claims that are paid out in an area, the higher the premiums for that area.
Funny part I’ve learned with glass business is they’ll make all this big whoop about independent companies or small businesses but the bigger companies like SafeLite charge the highest price don’t believe me though go do your own research if you can put so much into calling these small just trying to make it company’s shady

Ultimately auto glass shops can’t have normal jobs like you all we have to be called shady and scam artists etc when it is a requirement chips and cracks are repaired and you pay every month for things like road side assistance , windshield repair / replacement the list can go on but I’m just throwing this out here to the public who reads these things down here know your laws know your rights or keep letting the REAL scammers preach to you somebody who knocks door 2 door every day is trying to scam you . 🤦🏾♂️

The glass was cracked and in a colder climate on a cold day using the defroster that chip would spread. Doesn't need a replacement but chip repair service would suffice.

It's a huge scam, they do this to people who have nothing wrong with their windows and scam people for thousands

Florida law says if its damaged it can be replaced the insurance companies have a option to inspect and pay if they choose too without lawsuits

Looked like a break to me. That break is the kind that split my windshield.
Three DNS sales guys popped up at my home recently. Glad I watched this. My windshield has a big crack in it but I’ll use a reputable company!
A really good one is Apex Auto Glass or Auto glass America great family owned companies
I worked for them for one week, and then quit, they didn't even pay us hourly just commission

James Nava windshields can be recycled. I’m not sure if they do or where you live but In Arizona that do.
