@@thebachemulationproject3268 Sorry if this looks like, spam, but a few hours ago I've uploaded on my channel a Bach-style piece you could find interesting... at least I hope. ;)
this is the coolest fugue I've ever heard! the subject is catchy, the chromatic countersubject was unexpected and the imitation of the voices were phenomenal! subscribing now!
Really inspiring work. (Love the chromatic reharmonization at 0:50, and the weaving of the head motif into the sequences and the episodes.) Do you know any specific examples of Bach fugues in which the subject starts on the mediant scale degree? Seems unusual (e.g., all the WTC fugues (either book) start on the tonic or dominant), but I might just be unaware of him using that technique
Wonderful and very convincing emulation, with clear reminiscence of BWV 1080. It is very hard to write good episodes without resorting to oversimplified progressions or distracting digressions: you achieved very interesting results adding new motives and integrating them in the structure of the piece. My only doubt is about the free part before the third entry in the exposition (0:12) where a too close quotation of the subject precedes the actual third entry, creating the false idea of another entry of the subject.
Ok, seriously, who the hell are you? :D Yours are probably the best imitations of Bach's style ever composed!
Yup I completely agree! This is insanely good!
haha thank you so much for your words! I'll reveal my identity when I have more subscribers ;)
@@thebachemulationproject3268 That's fun, I'm fantasizing you're actually some well known avant-garde hyper-experimental composer who's basically trolling everyone. :D

Hey Stefano, you did a very nice job. Good harmony choices, and good voicings! I can see you have a lot of craft.
Wow, I was NOT expecting that chromatic countersubject!
Sounds very nice and easy to play, would really like to have a score for this.

the scrolling playback really helps it seem like bach
Nice Contrapunctus 8 / 11 vibe!
Bravo!

It's known as a false entry, one of the many techniques used by baroque composers (along with augmentation, inversion, stretto, etc.)
Down a 5th up a 4th, classic circle. Won't nitpick the counterpoint but iykyk.
Incredible fugue with lots of chromatisism! Nice!
So cool... Where can i get the sheet music ?
Thanks! I'm sorry for the moment I won't be sharing the scores... I hope I can do that in the future though!
Reminded me of Handel more than Bach due to the rhythm
Its nice
More Vivaldi than Bach
