A baseball thrown at 70 mph? When ? And Where? That was a spongeball (rubberball) and I can bet Franz cant throw 70mph. They should have left that out altogether.
I love the ingenuity of the cybertruck but there's no need to lie to showcase how impressive this truck is.

Thanks for your comment. The demonstration of the Cybertruck's armor glass withstanding a baseball thrown at 70 mph is indeed a notable aspect mentioned on the Cybertruck's homepage. It showcases the robustness of the vehicle, and we appreciate your interest in the details of these tests.

Tesla has written it on their homepage. Needs someone to test it to see if it's true or not.

You can tell from how high that ball bounces of the floor that it was rubberball/spongeball.
I've played baseball in minor leagues if the glass can withstand 70mhp baseball that wasn't it. Go to a batting cage set the speed to 70mph and then you tell me if Franz was throwing that hard, and more importantly if you think that was a professional baseball or a rubberball.
Like said There's plenty of amazing things about it, and the glass could probably withstand a real baseball, the fact that the metal balls did not completely shattered the glass in 2019 is plenty already, but that last demonstration was not proved of their claims. This could lead to possible misinformation, bogus lawsuits, headlines etc etc

Thank you! You are the first I found that actually mentioned the built in ramp. You covered the topics I am interested in. I really use a pick up and I could care less about speed, range over 250 miles. The SS body will hold up well in the north woods. Where every tree is trying to dent and scratch you. Add electric saws and drills. Take off the mirrors, trees bite those off, stumps and rocks hide in the ferns trying to bite off you exhaust. (Now I won't have one.) Clamp on a decent winch and I'm ready for the woods. 4 wheel turning, meh. Single motor will get me down most two tracks. Dirt roads, piece of cake. May not have to add sandbags to the rear, it should be heavy enough. Will I wait a year? Or will this be like my Model 3 where the said a year and 3 months later calling me to pick up my car. I can hope. I do suspect it won't happen due to demand for the higher profit products, but then maybe the price could drop a bit???

So when are you gonna take an artificial snow maker and shoot snow and ice all over it and show us how the single wiper works also how the vault door will still be able to operate without fully deicing it plus show us how the cameras work and what the view looks like when theres a blizzard going on or even a heavy rainstorm with sidewash going on.
Lift up the front bed cover and show us whats under the cover and then put 2500lbs in the bed and tow 11,000 lbs like Elon Musk said the Cybertrashcan could do..
How come the bed outlets arent GFCI protected either and give us a review on the steel upper control arms for the suspension that are paper thin and 1/3 of its thickness comes from powdercoating or paint............
You should also do a suspension articulation test to show how rigid the Cybertrashcan is...
Put a temp gauge up to see how cold the AC gets and how hot the heat gets and then show how much power is consumed...

Imagine your towing let's say a trailer going camping your running out of batteries after about 80-100 miles because your towing something heavy then your running out of power because your battery is dying there's a truck traveling with you now he has to tow your trailer until you get to a charging station then you get there and there's a long line of ev's waiting to charge too while the truck your traveling with had to sit there and wait until your charged. You hook back your trailer and then this happens at least twice because your traveling around 300 miles. Then you finally get to your destination unhook your trailer and the truck traveling with you is playing off-road you want play too but you struggle to go up a simple hill while the truck your with is long gone up that hill then you finally make it up and now you see a muddy patch while the other truck has drove through it already and then you think you can drive through the muddy patch too and try to go through it but get stuck and dig in so deep and your soo heavy that no one can pull you out the other truck laughing at you and all you can do is cry and say " well at least I'm faster than you!!" while it's doing donuts around you

I'll reply to this later and tell you why you're full of shit, but also right because I know what towing is like with an ev but it's nowhere near as dreadful as you describe, if you have ever driven an ev. Specifically a tesla. It literally maps out the chargers for you. You don't gotta do shit and it even calculates how do they will ne by the time you arrive.
Just like that, your entire argument is destroyed.

You have to be an idiot to not map out where you’re going vs your EV towing distance capabilities before planing your towing trip. And if you tow heavy often and far then you shouldn’t own an EV, period. Get a diesel!!
So they should not make EV pickups just bc .01% of commuters do heavy towing for long distance?
470 mile range Trí motor will get you at least 200 miles with heavy towing. You probably may want to stop and check your trailer every so often. 15-20 charge and you’re back on the road. It’s not as bad as you think.

    • @zachrenner2794
      @zachrenner2794 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Towing with my diesel, I averaged about 7-8mpg. With a 31G tank = just over 200 miles if I run it dry. Planning is everything while towing. Your ramblings are pointless and are a discredit to any truck owner.
