I'm (fashionably) late to the party, but I have a grievance with Hermes: they may be at the apex of the luxury market, but as a matter or principle I would never patronize their stores, even if I could afford a Birkin or Kelly, for the simple reason that the staff make a concerted effort to be rude to customers. Hermes is notorious for hiring dismissive, arrogant staff and I believe it's become part of the brand's identity. Rudeness is never elegant!

Great video. Just had a chat with a friend about this. I've noticed a lot of influencers have the same items, shoes, bags, clothes, sunglasses, etc. There's a worrying lack of individuality. My nightmare is walking into a room and seeing myself everywhere. I love the *jklux* bag right now because I find it unique, and the impetus to buy and spend your hard earned money should be because you "like" it. Conspicuous consumption is never a good thing, uniqueness is a mark of pride.

Nice ! I don't spend more than about $500 on bags anymore since there are so many out there that are great around that price point (if someone wants to gift a more expensive one - fine). The nice thing is that it means there's more money to put in it (or in my TFSA)! Also, the value of a good bag is really in the way it ages too...
Absolutely. I do the same thing. I purchase bags from companies like Aspinal of London. They are easily as well made, and as stylish, as any "designer" handbag, for a tenth of the price. My investment was in my education, and I buy my own handbags.
St. Laurent bag is a great first designer bag! I’ve loved YSL forever. Yves was the first designer to popularize and also make it acceptable for women to wear tuxedo trousers and blazers as evening wear. He wanted women to be comfortable in their clothes.

Anna I remember first seeing your videos I wasn’t quite sure how to take your advice. Someone had left a negative comment about you which was quite mean and degrading to which of course, you did not respond to. With each new video you have put out it is clear that you are the complete opposite of what the comment was about. You have so much class and you’re highly intelligent and I must say that you have to be commended for achieving so much for a young woman. It takes years for most women to learn what you already know at your age. Well done I truly admire you 🙏 I wish I could turn back time and start again with your valuable lessons in mind. I'm not a woman, but I believe you are helping out American women look classy, which is not the norm. There are so many brand freaks, people wear everything with logos and the look like billboards. I can stand how people dress any more.
I prefer the Hermes Lindy -- I have it in several colors, it is very discrete, not heavy for its size, and it is easy to take my things from one bag to the other -- everything is in a purse organizer and in the same place. For its profile, it holds a lot! I also like the Bottega Veneta double chain tote, again it has a flat profile but holds a lot, with no logos. It's great to watch you moving into your cool color wardrobe, with the icy lemon sweater here and the lavender sweater, and the cool rose lipstick. The pastels are very flattering and very soft -- easy to watch and so feminine.
If you ever have the opportunity to travel to Italy, take the chance to buy bags in small local boutiques that sell what they produce themselves instead of big brands. Those small stores usually have the same same level of craftsmanship as known brands and also get their leather, silk, and wool from the very same providers as designer stuff. You can get much higher quality, more exclusive designs and even more elegance at an affordable price shopping in those small unknown underrated boutiques than getting designer stuff that everyone has. Always look for craftsmanship, quality, durability and elegance, not just a stupid brand.
Have you considered vintage or consignment stores? There are many online options such as Vestiaire Collective (I mention them because I have personal experience buying through them and have had no issues). Alternatively, look into brands like Aspinal of London, Furla or other Italian designers that are not as well known. The quality can often be on par or better than really high-end brands. Failing all this, if you have a cheaper leather handbag you can sometimes make it look more luxe with tasteful accessories (think a silk scarf tied on the handles).
The bag I find super classy (& the one that is my dream bag) is the Delvaux Brillant, I don't see it often but it's such a beautiful bag and their craftmanship is amazing!
I like Delvaux but not Moynat. Delvaux bags look clean, classy, and expensive. Moynat bags look to be mid level bags because the design is kind of meh.
I have a beautiful Coach bag in Lilac with Silver hardware, I love it. But ive recently just brought a M Fendi Baguette wide strap in pale Blue and it is honestly one of my favourite bags at the moment, an i don't have many.

Honey, I walked around in high heels for ever. Now, I am 57. Every thing was hurting. Me knee, hip, and back. My arches fell. Went to a good shoe store and got measurements. Size seven to a five and a half. My advice is to try Arcopedico from Peru. I am seeking out some shoes for dressy occasions. Hard to look classy limping around.
Yes, a flat shoe guide would be nice. Take a hint from Queen Elizabeth and rather than super flat, wear a 1 - 2 inch heel often the most comfy. I love a ballet flat but the rounded toe is too casual for evening.
Absolutely! I love the Katherine/Audrey Hepburn look (brogues/flats with small heel/kitten heels). I have flat feet and bunions and incredibly bony feet with almost zero padding so comfort is KING. Can't go wrong with brogues. Puma makes pretty gorgeous and affordable sneakers, especially their fashion designer collabs.

And if I could afford it, I still wouldn’t do it. I wouldn’t buy something with a logo to advertise a company for them. I also think the elegant lady makes the outfit, not the accessories.

Anna, please make elegant fashion videos for young girls as well, who are in their early twenties like 21 plus and university going. It is really exhausting to decide which style should we prefer because if we go for pastel colors we are considered too minimal of our age and if we go for dark and mixed colors it seems too much. Also, it is hard to decide bags, heels and what not. I hope you will consider this request.

The YSL Sac du Jour & Céline are my favorites, love the minimalist look. Hermès bags are too classic for my taste. In France, old ladies wore it a lot in the 50s-60s, I imagine it stuck with me.

The Hermes Bolide bag is a classic, without the showy hardware of the Constance. It is timeless, elegant and versatile. My husband selected it over other Hermes models, and loves whenever I wear it because he loves the lines of it. Since it is one of Hermes’ original bags from the 1920s, most people who know the line immediately recognize it without labels. I would consider it for a first Hermes bag, although it was not in my case, because it is so versatile and can be easier to obtain than certain others.

Someone had left a negative comment about you which was quite mean and degrading to which of course, you did not respond to. With each new video you have put out it is clear that you are the complete opposite of what the comment was about. You have so much class and you’re highly intelligent and I must say that you have to be commended for achieving so much for a young woman. I love my American Made full leather Black Dooney & Bourke Boho bag. 6 years wears like a tank. Looks brand new! Very funky chic.
I'm not a woman, but I believe you are helping out American women look classy, which is not the norm. There are so many brand freaks, people wear everything with logos and the look like billboards. I can stand how people dress any more.
I prefer the Hermes Lindy -- I have it in several colors, it is very discrete, not heavy for its size, and it is easy to take my things from one bag to the other -- everything is in a purse organizer and in the same place. For its profile, it holds a lot! I also like the Bottega Veneta double chain tote, again it has a flat profile but holds a lot, with no logos.
It's great to watch you moving into your cool color wardrobe, with the icy lemon sweater here and the lavender sweater, and the cool rose lipstick. The pastels are very flattering and very soft -- easy to watch and so feminine.
Elegant and style for the poor people, please . I can’t afford Hermès, LV, or St Laurent.
If you ever have the opportunity to travel to Italy, take the chance to buy bags in small local boutiques that sell what they produce themselves instead of big brands. Those small stores usually have the same same level of craftsmanship as known brands and also get their leather, silk, and wool from the very same providers as designer stuff. You can get much higher quality, more exclusive designs and even more elegance at an affordable price shopping in those small unknown underrated boutiques than getting designer stuff that everyone has. Always look for craftsmanship, quality, durability and elegance, not just a stupid brand.
Have you considered vintage or consignment stores? There are many online options such as Vestiaire Collective (I mention them because I have personal experience buying through them and have had no issues). Alternatively, look into brands like Aspinal of London, Furla or other Italian designers that are not as well known. The quality can often be on par or better than really high-end brands. Failing all this, if you have a cheaper leather handbag you can sometimes make it look more luxe with tasteful accessories (think a silk scarf tied on the handles).

But ive recently just brought a M Fendi Baguette wide strap in pale Blue and it is honestly one of my favourite bags at the moment, an i don't have many.

Honey, I walked around in high heels for ever. Now, I am 57. Every thing was hurting. Me knee, hip, and back. My arches fell. Went to a good shoe store and got measurements. Size seven to a five and a half. My advice is to try Arcopedico from Peru. I am seeking out some shoes for dressy occasions. Hard to look classy limping around.

Yes, a flat shoe guide would be nice. Take a hint from Queen Elizabeth and rather than super flat, wear a 1 - 2 inch heel often the most comfy. I love a ballet flat but the rounded toe is too casual for evening.
Absolutely! I love the Katherine/Audrey Hepburn look (brogues/flats with small heel/kitten heels). I have flat feet and bunions and incredibly bony feet with almost zero padding so comfort is KING. Can't go wrong with brogues. Puma makes pretty gorgeous and affordable sneakers, especially their fashion designer collabs.

I love your videos. This one hits home for me because I’ve never been one to spend a lot of money on hand bags. I could never afford 2000.00 or more for a bag. And if I could afford it, I still wouldn’t do it. I wouldn’t buy something with a logo to advertise a company for them. I also think the elegant lady makes the outfit, not the accessories.

Anna, please make elegant fashion videos for young girls as well, who are in their early twenties like 21 plus and university going. It is really exhausting to decide which style should we prefer because if we go for pastel colors we are considered too minimal of our age and if we go for dark and mixed colors it seems too much. Also, it is hard to decide bags, heels and what not. I hope you will consider this request.

The YSL Sac du Jour & Céline are my favorites, love the minimalist look. Hermès bags are too classic for my taste. In France, old ladies wore it a lot in the 50s-60s, I imagine it stuck with me.
